Yes that is a person. An employee is perched at the top of the big drop to watch riders on the lift hill.

I went to Canobie with friends last month, and the whole entire ride, I was screaming "I hate you all." lol. :) But the ride was truly fun. I was holding onto my friend for dear life though. lol :)

No u do not need a beathing sute. But personaly I recamend one. Aswell as a change of clothes do to the number ot water rides that they have there

oh here we go with all the idiots complaining about the unsafe ride.. I grew up in salem, worked at the park, and frequented this ride many times.... the only IDIOTS that get hurt are the ones not listening to the rules. You get hurt, you probably caused it yourself by doing something you shouldnt

I went on this 3 times!! Pretty fun 4 people who aren't that used to rollercoasters. I tried to put my hands up and scream but whenever i drop my stomach flips and I end up grabbing back on!!! Haha luvvveed this ride!!!!!

Really how did you manage to do that. I only know one person who did that and that is the person who runs the photo's at the park. If you were riding it and fell out and broke your leg it means you were doing something stupid.

There are only a few Flume rides in the word that have seat belts. So there is no reason for Canobie's to have them.

i felt my stomach drop on the last drop...

(i hate that feeling and that's why i havn't ridden the ride in over 5 year)

but i loved it any ways!!!

your have to compensate with a small house fan say a 3 speed model. low for the ride itself, medium for the 2 small drops and high for the 2 big drops. use a water spray bottle on the mist setting for an added 4D effect.
