  • I made this today (and though I would use about half the sugar when I make it again) I would just like to say thank you so much. I never got my pearls to turn out completely cooked, without being stuck together, and I had no one to show me, but this video made it clear how to do it!

I appreciate you put the ingredients in English under the description but I don't know what you are saying throughout the video and I know it is important to do things a certain way when cooking.   • @wantanmien Thank you for replying so fast! I was watching this video on my cell phone and it doesnt give me the option to turn annotations or cc on or off. One more question please. Can I use instant taro tapioca pearls? The bag says big and cooks in 5 minutes but they are really small when cooked, like the ones you used. Will they overcook in 10 min? Thank you!

  • Is it ok to substitute soy milk or just use more coconut milk/water instead of dairy milk?

  • @pingpingphua Hi, you can buy in the asian supermaket. ( Ground the fresh pandan leaves press out the juice or like mine already made, natural colour ) :-)
