How about the law of thermodynamics is a real thing. Energy is never lost or destroyed, only transformed. So when you body is in that wooden box you energy will be headed to hell. Us Christians call that energy a soul, good luck douchebag.

Everyone needs to come together. Everything that has happened in Haiti and in the whole world. Are just signs from god. People need to wake up and pay attention and realize what is going on. If all else fails get right with god. Faith is the only thing that will keep the people of Haiti's spirits up.

My heart goes out to the Haitian people and I should hope that they are able to muster faith in themselves and faith in humanity, God has little to do with this, nor should he. Provided the existence of God, it's his or her damn fault that this happened in the first place.

Don't ask what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. For those who much is given, much is expected. New Orleans knew Katrina was coming, no one knew that earthquake was. Maybe if you give something, the next time your family is in trouble GOD will remember your kindness selfless behavior and reward you with a blessing.

Part of the answer to that is other countries simply do not have the reach and resources we have. Also, the Bush Administration fumbled and dropped the ball on Katrina in ways that Obama is not prepared to do to Haiti. Moreover, the U.S. is far from the most generous of the developed nations. On average, we contribute the least in foreign aid compared to the other top world economies and yet we are the richest. If you are looking for an explanation, that is about it.

Not only that, I don't want to undermine the tragedy that Katrina was (it was awful) but the loss of life is significantly different. 1,836 vs a projected 200 000

Maybe it's hard for you to understand, but not every nation in the world has the resources as other well-developed nations. New Orleans after Katrina is basically the equivalent of what Haitians lived in on a daily basis.

some of you people are sick,racist,and mean...people in haiti need more help than us,i mean imgaine if that was you and your loved ones..it would be sad. im gonna donate 3,000 dollars tomorrow and probably give out water,food,blankets,etc for them. i feel sorry for them. i just don't get it,more people in the world should be nice,helpful,and NOT racist....we are lucky obama is here to help and lucky he is the president,you just don't know what else he will do to help...

Haiti is a victim of ill-education, Catholicism and 19th century France.
Earthquake? Western Hispaniola is on the edge of tectonic plates so it's no surprise. And if not the unjust compensation to France and Catholicism discouraging education but encouraging overpopulation this quake would not be half as devastating as it is.
