  • HOW MUCH FLOUR!?!??!?!!?!? DAMN IT GORDON!!!!!!

  • Is it wierd that it feels like watching sherlock holmes? You know, the whole staggered list of intructions.

  • Like a fuckin' boss. :P

  • It looks like stacked stool with diarrhea to dip it in to be honest.

  • @daylightdisk ur a retarded idiot who doesn't know about food

  • It does !!

  • normal sugar doesnt really taste good on a churros

icing suger is where its at

  • @Truongearth I recollect(I wont look the vid again, I'm craving for chocolate right now =/ ) that he said castor sugar with cinnamon- and castor is the link between icing and normal granulated- so I assume it's fine enough^^

  • Im a gastronomy student from Mexico, that doesnt even look like the real recipe for churros, no sugar? no eggs? wtf i know ramsay is an amazing chef but was dissapointing, not even close how real churros are made...

  • @MrStampide Churros are different in every country. You should know something as basic as that. You may as well say "it's not a real pizza if it doesn't have parmesan on it".

There are no "perfect, original recipes". Every recipe has been altered hundreds if not thousands of times before becoming famous. Some changes for the better, some for the worse. Adding sugar and eggs to churro dough is for the worse. I have never met anyone who did that.

  • @jaseth1337 well first of all, recipes from grandmothers and old chefs is what we call "original recipes" al least here in mexico, second, how would you know if adding sugar and eggs are for worse? churros is a traditional snack here in Merxico, youre trying yo teach me how to make my own food? the ORIGINAL RECIPE its not like that, just sayin

  • @MrStampide The description clearly says "traditional Spanish churros".

Nothing about Mexico anywhere. You might speak the language but your food is far from the same as what they eat in Spain.

It was unfair of me to deem your recipe worse. Since I have never heard of churros with sugar and eggs in the dough I obviously don't know how good they are.

It doesn't make Ramsay's recipe worse either though.

Just look at the number of national variations for something like empanadas.

  • @jaseth1337 No that doesnt make ramsays recipe worse, and mexico and spain are very similar in some things, actually my grandma is from spain and she showed me how she used to do this recipe thats why i was a little confused but its ok, as you say there are a lot of recipes for the same dish.

  • I was gonna go to redtube but i decided to come here instead.

  • DONE

  • i wonder what his kids eat every single day...

  • Oh My God. Want those churros.

  • That awkward moment when you think Ramsey is going to say, "Olive Oil", but instead says, "Vegetable Oil".

  • this looks so delicious!

  • churros look burnt

  • food porn!!!!!

  • How can he make something that I get off the streets cheap into a dessert oozing poshness?

  • WOW!

  • If you cant keep up... Youre a fucking moran!!

  • how much flour should i use to add into the mixer? anyone?

  • @wak18dan 250 grams plain flour

  • 1:18 penetration

  • I want to stick my dick in that hot chocolate. Damn.

  • @HumaneAnon LMAO i died. you are a good man

  • @HumaneAnon lmaooo wtf

  • @HumaneAnon Hot chocolate with (chill) good luck O.o

  • @HumaneAnon If you do then its called american pie

  • do you put egg?

  • @TheNurulshazlina This is a Pate Choux dough he made minus the egg's. You can make this dough exactly the same way but add egg's. It works but won't have the eggy flavor that a traditional choux will. Either way it's delicious. Experiment with both!

  • my cheap mexican resteraunt near my house does it with the chocolate in the churos

  • @liverpoolftwfan luckyyyyy can't find a single store that sells it here in canada

  • @JimmyChiffels all of the 7/11's in Canada do :p

  • Buttah;)

  • Fucking Brilliant! Love GR!

  • peanut oil is the way to go..

  • he forgot the eggs

  • @jerzeydude20 The ancient recipe has no eggs, he's sticking to that one. :) That's the traditional churro as you can eat it in La Churreria.

  • why does 1:20 look so sexual

  • We love churros in Argentina, but we make them without the Cinnamon (Canela)... and sometimes fill them up with caramel spread (dulce de leche).

  • вы там ебанулись со своей рекламой?

  • Holy Jesus this looks delicious.

  • @RawrrBoo ...in the churros..?

  • Where are the eggs?

  • @RawrrBoo yea, I was wondering about that? he went so quickly i thought I had missed them... LOL!

  • how much flour?

  • @stingo101 i know you comment was more than 2 months ago but i jsut did it with 1 cup of flower and dough came out a bit thicker than ramsays...

  • The chocolate recipe is very unconventional but, why not, it seems delicious.

But I'm sorry, there must be NO butter in the churros dough. Maybe butter makes the dough workable in a piping bag. The real churros come out from a solid metal or plastic tube, called "churrera", because the dough is very compact.

And, most importantly, butter totally alters the taste of the churro.

Finally, the churros must be fried golden, not brown like here...

  • @CocaineLord Almost everything in the spanish culture has moorish influence, specially the cooking. You would think that 600 years of ocupation might influence a country's culture...

  • @CocaineLord He said more-ish (also spelt moreish), as in, you keep wanting more.

  • @MacktheNice no....its Moorish....

  • @retrotw That doesn't make sense. It's like saying 'incredibly Italian'. There are no spices nor fruits that would define this as Moorish. In context, I think he is referring to 'moreish' as in what appears in the Cambridge dictionary. Check it out.

  • @MacktheNice If anything this is Mexican. After all, chocolate, vanilla, and chiles all come from the area of present day Mexico. Some of many things that the central americans gave to the world.

  • @carsiotto he's put his own twist on a traditional spanish breakfast/tea. chocolate con churros; the hot chocolate is traditionally just hot milk and melted chocolate, although commercial variations are sold in powder form that are bulked out with plenty of cornstarch. Also, churros don't officially contain butter.

  • @deniceinspain Yeah I know what you mean, all of these components are of Mexico though.

  • lol i found it really funny how he teaches . 1 one for each step.

butter. melt. pipping bag. fill. chill. hot pan. veg oil. pipe. snip. DONE

  • freakingly delicious !!!!!!
