I am from southern senegal ,,,,, and i repeat it once again , Guinée is the cradle of best Mandinka percusionist!!!Pure talent !!!Animbara Mandinkolu!!!
absolutely beautiful, remarkable, stunning and it just moves yah.I love it,wish we could hear this more. Can't wait for the day to go there and submerse myself in the culture.
they are having so much fun! I'D give half of my life to have their rhythm... It might sound stupid but I really think God gave them rhythm and music...Africans just have it
Guinea drummers are the fastest i have ever seen! Their style is lightning fast and precisely syncopated with all the intricatesies of the dance movements and expressions!! Dam, i can barely see it ...it's so fast!
Daaaaaaaaaaaaam! These young man are hell-0f-GOOD, If i were there I for sure would throw down a $20,at the least! One of the last guy that did a solo was drumming so fast all I saw was a BLUR, It was so amazing!
This is how the drummers and musicians get paid. These people don't have contracts with riders to take the brown M and Ms out. Nor do they work day jobs to support their music as we do in the west. The money thrown at them puts bread on the table.
A culture that appreciates it's musicians which is why money is given. Musicians provide that feel good factor that we struggle to find in our culture, hence easy and hollow stimulation from strip clubs.
"i love how they throw money at them like americans throw money at strippers"
Don't equate an African custom with low life american customs. It has nothing to do with the disgusting american ways. Maybe ask someone of this culture what it means. This video is beautiful.
I havent seen anyone caring about hiv poisoning all the people of africa...how about some love caring brothers to add this spectacular music.Come on wake up, no ones gonna help us
@drumcafe I've been watching you play Kassa at Edinburgh with Landing and Baba and it was bloody amazing! Don't get into stamp collecting just yet! The guys above are bloody amazing as well.

It sounds if they are playing fast but they are just playing their individual parts in the ensemble. Speed is not always good when playing Djembe.

Africa is a happy place!!! It would have been more happier hadn't the European scrambled Africa. The western countries still ignite internal war.
One day god will give justice till then let's keep the faith.

Beautiful, so much talent, energy and soul. I long for a culture where money is thrown at people like musicians and not strippers.
