  • 4 Canadian soldiers were killed and eight others injured when U.S. Air National Guard Major Harry Schmidt, dropped a laser-guided 500 lb bomb from his F-16 jet fighter on the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry conducting a night firing exercise near Kandahar. Schmidt was charged with negligent manslaughter, aggravated assault, and dereliction of duty. He was fined nearly $5,700 in pay and was reprimanded. The Canadian dead received US medals for "bravery," but no apology.

  • Canada....Why...WHY ARE YOU KILLING MY PEOPLE. THE MUSLIMS DID NOTHING GET OUT OF AFGHANISTAN!!! PLEASE THEY DIDNT ATTACK ARE COUNTRY PLEASE!!! IM NOT EVEN FROM AFGANISTAN AND I FEEL BAD FOR THE MUSLIM BROTHERS WHO HAVE TO SUFFER THROUGH THIS. LEAVE AFGHANISTAN ALONE!!

  • were not there to kill people were to protect. and please dont post comments like that on videos like this. god bless canada.

  • Sorry for they two comments but my thoughts were over the character limit, Now dying for you country is when you fight to keep it free from invaders and dying for you politicians is when you go to a war (usually overseas), and invade another country.

  • Really??? I mean Really???

Whoever you are and wherever your From you need to take your opinion and shove it up your Ass.. All those kids that don't have Father's right now don't need your bullshit to pollute their minds. These Men are all Hero's who where Buried Wrapped in the Canadian Flag and if that doesn't make them all Hero's you tell what does? I'm extremely offended by your comments and I would love to meet you face to face someday and discuss them.....

  • Now listen to me. I had two comments for this, I do not know if you read both or just the last one, but I MENT NO OFFENSE IN ANY WAY TO THE FAMILIES!!!!!! I was simply stating a quote told to my by a soldier of WWII "To die on land is to die for you country and to die oversea is to die for your politician". I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart if I had offended the families I have offended with the comments. But this was a quote I grew up to and it will always stand with me no matter.

  • in the description of the video, Slightly Skpticl says that the video is for remebering those who served and died for our country, but didn't they die for our politicians rather than our country, you can ban me, spam me, or whatever, but before you do, stop and think for about a minute and learn the difference of dying for your country and dying for you politican's media appearence.

  • from the u.s.

god bless all canadian servicemen and women. we stand on guard for thee...

  • It is too bad that UKArmySucksBad is a coward. Perhaps he can support the brave Afghan men who throw acid in the face of little girls... they are brave (the men). I can only imagine the terror that a dozen little school girls can strike in the heart of brave men.

  • REMEMBER WHO?

  • I didn't know. I am a Canadian living in another country and never relised that so many Canadian soldiers have died in Afghanistan. I'm watching this with tears in my eyes. As a mother my heart goes out for thier family's. God bless all you soldiers.

  • i look at that video-clip and i soo only yung and strong people..so sory for family and a great RESPECT for all soldiers and a big suport for wunded in that warr. so...again :RESPECT!!!

  • god bless these brave men who fight for freedom :(

  • im canadian, and i wanna say thank you to 04july1776 for his/her comments.i myself have tried ot not miss a single canadian death.and if you dont like politics of the world thats fine.but we still cannot forgot the americans canadians in afgainstan and iraq.another video that really touched me was "remember me".its mostly about amercian troops in iraq.everyone has familes.and a garauntee you most of these men and women who died were great people.please remember their sacrifice.

  • I disagree, everyone is well respected for serving the armed forces. Thank you everyone who is serving.
