To sum up all the arguments, we the people have nothing to do with this. If we were to confront them they would just go on about whatever. The thing is cupe's actions are illegal (if you don't believe me just look at what they do), if you were to try to privatize you would wake up to a city on fire (litterally, they will burn it down). And although I do not support Miller, I do think that the strike was unavoidable, in 2003, Lastman tried to come to a deal but they went on strike any way.
