I guess it was like a modern take on the old prophecies. If you were already well, prepared.

Yeah - as a six year old with the laser toy, this show was home improvement.

I'd get kind of sacred about it - "is it the " " ... "AHHH" "".... yet.... gotta these robots though - or are they "oh no they're people"

They were based in my home town - the ruins of the subway is Toronto's bay subway, just a few hours away in kid time, or 25 mins.

POWER ON! I love this. I was so sad when Pilot died at the end. I remeber crying that weekend. One of the best Saturday morning cartoons besides Galaxy Rangers, Voltron, G.I. Joe, Robotech, Transformers, and Centurions. ;)

There were a janpanise animated series with that name "capitan Futuro", well at least in the spanish version, maybe it was the same in english "capitain future"
