  • mal kein schmusi,lalala song.toll fantastisch.

  • I love your video! Thank you very much for publishing it. I was born in 1979 and so I missed to realize ABBA. But their music got into my blood and brain and I guess I will never lose that. ABBA was the only reason for me wanting to be older than I really am.

  • what incredible songwriting! ABBA is certainly a gift to all of us.just wonderful

  • I really love this song. "Soldiers" is one of my favourite song from album named "The Visitors". And this video; something what I love. Lots of amazing and wonderful pictures of Anni-Frid! And Benny too. :--)

Thank you so much for this, Jim!

  • abba the big stars of musics just to them

  • Beautiful video, Jim- I just love Benny/Frida montages. And more people need to know how great Soldiers is.......

    Thanks for posting-

  • One of many reasons why I love ABBA songs -lyrics with a deep meaning. I feel shivers while listening to such songs. This is a masterpiece and such is The piper too.

  • Strange, but when I had my Visitor's album, I never cared for this song....fast forward 25 years, now I love the song and pretty much everything else ABBA did!!!

  • I know how ya feel Joy...In 1974 I was introduced to Abba and we liked them because our girlfriends liked them. Even if we really did like them, we were way to cool to admit it to our friends because that's how it was back then. Thanks for looking in.

    Peace from Iowa...Jim~

  • amazing song! you can feel the suspense in it :D

  • Oh, I am sorry I did mean to sound like that, you probably meant that they now how to grow with the time. Yes, ji61m you are right. God only knows what more they could have created.

  • Oh no, I never said that you called them immature at all! I was just trying to compare their music from the early 70's to the music of the 80's, as to how much their sound had grown so to speak. You never offended me so no worries okay. Thanks for writing back.

    Peace...Jim~

  • Sorry ji61m, they're sound never sounded immature to me, it all sounds timeless. Sorry.

  • This song is superb! Thank you ji61m, I actually like Frida very much. Oh well, I am an Abbafanforever.

  • You're welcome. You could tell that they're sound had really matured once they entered the 80's. This album "Visitors" was unfortunately their last studio album and one will never know what new heights they could have acheived had they continued.

    Peace from Iowa...Jim~

  • one of the best abba songs ever...

  • this song is super

  • Thank you Karolina. I think this would be a good video to update or refresh. I like it very much myself.

    Peace, Jim~

  • Just to Let you know.....This Is Agnetha on Lead Vocal....I love This Song Though. Frida Sand Lead On I Let The Music Speak Which I Really Love On That Album

  • I'm well aware whose singing, I happen to have two friends that like this song and they happen to be Frida fans. So I decided to put some Frida and Benny pics together with the song for them to enjoy. Frida did sing over half the songs on the "Visitors" album which was also their last studio album in 1981.

  • Thanks for the Frida song. She is my favorite.

  • abba is 1 of the all time greats i still play all there albums still there are and shall always be the greatestpop group ever

  • I like this drummer!!!

  • @mmaajaa ABBA's drummer was Ola Brunkert. Sadly, he died a few years ago in a freak accident in his home in Spain. Poor guy.

  • Such a brilliant song.

Abba are easily the greatest popular music band of all time along with the Beatles.

  • I certainly agree ken, and with total album (CD) sales approaching 400 million, you would think that they would be a shoe in for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. After all, they defined pop music in the 70's. Who else can say that! Thanks for your comment.

    Jim~

  • The more I listen to this great group, the more I admire them. If you read the words as they sing, you realize that not many people can sing like this. It's a hard song to make sound good, and they made it great. I'm from the U.S. and I don't care if the R&R hall of fame members ever think ABBA's good enough to be in it. I my mind ABBA's is as great as any person or group in the Hall and I grew up listening too many that are in there now.

ABBA will always be true to the music.

    Thanks.

  • Although the acknowledgement would be only fitting, ABBA doesn't need the R&R HoF. Their record sales, their devoted fans, and their pure talent and artistry speak for themselves. This is amazing, haunting, timeless music that will never die and only gets better the more you hear it. There are none better before, and have been none better since. That's greater than any Hall of Fame.

  • Big political message in this Jim. Abba stand up for the Poles, and get banned in Soviet states. Complex singalong song preaching peace, only Abba could do it to this quality. It's outstanding really. Abba and Frida at the top of their game. Your digging is paying dividends Jim, great pics.

  • Thanks John, My digging not done. How many pics do you think exist out there of Frida alone? All i've gotten were strictly Abbs group photos. I haven't even scratched Frida's surface yet(but i'd like to!!!)

  • "So I must leave, I`ll have to go, to Las Vegas or Monaco and win a fortune in a game, my life will never be the same". One of the best known Abba lines, I adore them, I guess... I have loved them for a long time. I was just thinking about it, I am getting older, definetly:D I love you all, guys, I am a bit drunk, but what the hell, it`s friday night!!! And I love Abba, and love this video:D I am a viking:D :D

  • That's my girl, letting your hair down, leaving your schooling behind for another weekend, and relaxing to some good music! Thank you Anita, we love you right back!

  • Great new pics Jim

Love the intro on this song

  • I was looking for a Frida song to do, and, although it's still Abba, What the heck, I like it! Thanks Shay.

  • One of my fav later tracks from the fab four and more nice pics Jim.

  • Thanks Eddie, The Visitors was very Frida Friendly, if you get my meaning. I like doing the occasional Frida vid not only because she is beautiful, but i want the world to be Abba right! It was all 4, not just Aggy or Frida.

  • Nice pictures Jim! almost all of them are new to me! I specially liked the one at 03:45, so cute!

  • Thanks Patricia! "If you want to find buried treasure, you have to do a little digging" That's one thing i've learned about Abba pics, there there, you just have to know where to dig!
