@kondor1001 You can download the free edition of MikroC from MikroElectronica web site. Software is equipped with fully functional demo license with up to 2K of program words of output code size which can be just enough for simple applications.
first of all its knight rider, not night rider. The resistors are for limiting the current to 100mA (which is safe for the LEDs) and its Mikro c not micro C pro
