You did a good job in presenting this and developing interest without giving up too much. It's a great book isn't it? I like the music and the thunderstorm in the background.
I think this was handled well. If you are not in the least bit attracted to the opposite sex (or even someone of your own sex) then there is seriously something wrong with you.
actually no the back of the book says something like "then she left the stage... the crowd chanted "Jonas. Jonas. Jonas. softly at first but then louder, JONAS. JONAS. JONAS. just like they did with the newchild caleb. jonas' s heart swelled with pride and gratitude. but also fear. he didnt know what he would become. or what would become of him."
those arent the exact words but thats what it mainly says...
Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under cotrol. There is no war or fear or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community. When Jonas turns 12, he is singled out to recieve special training from The Giver. Th Giver alone holds the memories of the true pain and pleasure of life. Now its time for Jonas tp recieve the truth. There is no turning back.
omg, i wanted to get this book, from barnes and noble but my friend cooper took it....its in the school libary though, hey is the cover has a man holding a staff (i think) and at one of the corners,it shows the sun setting or something?ooh, ima make a series too! called Found...okay ima shut up
