@kevinis69 Young girls made it a point to laugh like a chorus and point sometimes..I am finding out that this is often done to even to Norwegians from the countryside who come to visit the larger cities. When I was on the plane back to Boston from Iceland (shuttle from Norway) a Norwegian man sitting across the isle from me spoke in Norwegian to a Dane sitting next to him..He pointed to my hat and told the Dane that I must be bald under the hat and started laughing hysterically. Rude!!!!

Some, not all, made very bold, insulting remarks and laughed hysterically at me..I heard things like.."ooh, it's a rock and roller" made in a sarcastic tone..A woman at a train station elbowed her friend and kept pointing at me, whispering to her friend as if I were an alien. I picked up my camera and took her picture and she stopped.

The war in Irak is similar to WW2. Saddam Hussein had already attacked Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Israel. If we had allowed him to continue he would have created chaos in the Middle East. The Middle East is the source of most of the world's oil. Without stability in the oil producing Middle East there would be chaos in the world economic system. It was absolutely necessary to remove Saddam, sadly. Even the leftist prime minister of Britain, Tony Blair, agreed and participated.

Norway is awesome and very beautiful. I'm just disappointed in the Norwegian government for dropping out of funding the Norway Pavilion at Epcot. They did such a great job helping Disney create it but without them, Disney doesn't care enough to update the outdated film about Norway, and they turned the Norwegian dining hall into a Disney Princess restaurant. As I have pointed out several times here already, all of Norway's money comes from oil which Norway pumps up from the North Sea. Have you ever heard of an international Norwegian company? No. Norway has nothing to boast of. Any money Norway gives to other lands is gained only because Norway is LUCKY to have oil. Sweden and Denmark have huge international companies which they have worked hard to develop. Working hard is something Norwegians know very little about.

If I where you, I would land at Flesland airport in Bergen. The west cost of Norway is the most beautiful part of the country; with beautiful fjords, mountains and valleys. From there you could easily take the train to Oslo. I recommend take the day train, or rent a car and drive your self, because the landscape is beautiful.

It is a beautiful country,but beleave me-you don't wanna live there:) Everything is very expensive.They have a very special policy about alcohol ( if you are a drinker:) One glass of beer ( 500ml) costs from 55 to 80 norsk kroner ....that's about 8 to 10..12 euro !!
