i meant just in general about the players as they are all very competent with their hands and certainly arnt afrain to get hurt.but hey everyone is entitled to their own oppinions
Those of us that have seen more than a "little" Gaelic Football goalkeeping can say that there are saves and keepers comparable with any in soccer. It is different being a Gaelic Football goalkeeper than a soccer keeper. The goals are different sizes and goals aren't the primary way of scoring in Gaelic Football and the nature of the style of play is different. You couldn't compare Hurling keepers, the most tested and skilled of all sports, with those of field or ice hockey.
omg dat day wz fckn mad!! i remembr wen d whistl blew i leggd it on 2 d pitch n got completely lost lmao i wz lyk 10 lol d whole field wz orange!! =] ard mhacha abú

What a day...i was the grand old age of 9 but it's a day i will NEVER EVER forget or the homecoming in Cross..thank you Armagh & Joe Kernan for all the memories, you're lengends!!
I'd say that it had something to do with the fact that Armagh were by far the better team!!! That is usually the reason why teams win All-Ireland Finals. This was certainly no exception.
Kerry were well on top at half time they just didnt come out in the second half. The rumour mill at the time was saying their was a bust up in the dressing room but that could be just an excuse but kerry were defanetly not the same team after the half
Yes, they were on top in the 1st half, but Armagh ground them down and won in the 2nd half, like Tyrone did in 2005.Tyrone were on top in the 1st half of 1986, but Kerry reversed that in the 2nd half. Roscommon 1980 too.
In many ways it is very different. Round ball, rectangular pitch, different scoring system, skills, & pace, & many other things. It's also been described as a cross between soccer & rugby. A Compromise game has been played between Aussie Rules and Gaelic Footballers, mixing the rules of the two. This was first done in 1967 and at various stage since then, featuring a small number of games either here or in Australia.
I only got certain parts of the match. What I got of the goal was completely obstructed, so you could not see anything. I edited it out along with a lot of other poor stuff.
Who has scored the most points in total in the GAA All Ireland Football competition ever?

Aussie AFL fan here: faulk I love Gaelic!

same its like a cross between football( soccer) and footy(AFL) and if a soccer team ever needs a keeper they need to look no further than this.
keep it up guys the world loves your game (even if they wont admit it)
