  • wow he is huge!!!

  • what kind is it

  • FYI In the new Disney show "Jessie", there's a water monitor named Mr. Kipling as a family pet. These lizards are so cool!

  • mr kipling is a savvahna monitor

  • @TheGhedgepeth Mr. Kipling is one of prehistoric pets water monitors

  • Awww, that's so cute. I wish I had big enough space to keep a Nile monitor but I guess you need like a huge pool and a big ass vivarium/room. I think i'll stick to keeping Chinese water dragons. :)

  • awe!!! gorgeous . i have a baby Asian water monitor. =] right now he is spying on me lol

  • oooo a Komodo

  • doesnt it bit or attack you?

  • awsome moniter mines just a little baby

  • the title should be "monitor looks at pool 1 of 2"

  • You Can'T Call It Moniter In Pool 1 Of 2 If He Or She Dosent Go In!

  • I used to have one of these. I bought him as a hatchling and kept till he was about 2 years old. My wife made me take it back to the pet store :( She said it was too big and scary and we had little kids then but I sure do miss my monitor! His name is "Tank"

  • what the fuck thats scary as hell!!!

  • What's with her back right leg towards the end?

  • How in the hell do you get the cousin of the komodo dragon as a pet? For real how did you one? Thats nuts.

  • @DLMDLMddd For one these are calm lizards they even have and entire park wher eyou can walk around these types of monitors(water monitors) so there isn't that much wrong lol. Second there are sold all over from 70 bucks to 130, over herein texas i got mine for 70. Its not really nuts when you compare it to dogs that have attacked there owners and we made them domesticated but exotic pets have just starts and only the aggressive ones bite note take down there owners.

  • daaaammmnnn hes huge!!!! im getting one lol

  • Beautiful lizard! What's the harness he's wearing? Could I get some more info about that harness? Thanks!

  • He can run fast if he's a wild monitor.

  • @Rodiguez83 He can run fast if he isn't wild lol he still has legs.

  • i'm 10 but i'm a lizard hunter

  • id love to walk him down the streets

  • ppl keep their monitors on leashes??

  • These guys are capable of some nasty projectile pooping.

Be forewarned before you run off to the pet store~

  • ive always wanted one of these big guys but just dont have the room

  • just like a dog, only it looks so scary

  • Is this a good Begginer lizard?

  • @briancalifornia1 no its not a good begginer lizard, unless u want ur fingers to get bitten off.. lol, a leopard gecko is a good begginer lizzard, a good begginer snake is corn snake

  • you ppl are dumbasses the chlorine will not kill the lizard. the water you drink from your facet has chlorine in it.

komodo dragons have mouths filled with gangreen. which is a bacteria that will kill you. its worse than staff. they arent vemonous.

  • Should you really be letting your monitor in the Chlorinated water?

  • Komodos are venomous 'so yeah'. And before you say they don't and try to argue....google it.

  • @fitrascats komodoes are not venomous they just have lots of bactiria in there mouths

  • He is cute :D

  • WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAT AND A KOMOTODRAGON?!

  • @Invisiblepanda komodos are 10 ft eat people and have venom

  • @evildarktigershark Komodos dont havevenom but a lot of bacteria so yeah.

  • @evildarktigershark komodos dont have venom

  • @Invisiblepanda Water Monitors are smaller and leaner, waters have a longer tail compared to the body, live in differnt areas and over all shaped diffrently.

  • its tongue makes up half his size

  • Are you rich? Are you ready to keep a lizard close to the size of a komodo dragon? You should totally keep a video diary of the ups and downs of keeping such a lizard so that young people or poor people do not purchase such an animal.

  • is that a legal pet?

  • @dmark460D yes but in not all the states. i do believe since the hurricane in florida they are banned in the east coast of the us.many people buy them as babies, can't handle them because they are to big so they let them go. in florida the hurrciane made many peoples lizard escape and they are now endangering the wild life in the everglades.so you can still buy them but the us govonment has concers about there size and egreesivness.same thing with pythons.they kill people.same with these

  • is it poisonous

  • Dude yr crazy!A gigantic monitor as a pet!?

  • omg he is beautiful <3

  • that lizard if massive i only got 2 beardies

  • wat the smallest moiter and how big will it grow

  • @AlbertoMuse timor monitors are the smallest i know of at around 18" -2ft, but they tend to be fast and timid. savannah monitor females usually grow around 2-3 feet. Savannahs are great pet if your looking for a monitor.

  • @AlbertoMuse ackies r pretty good

  • @AlbertoMuse the smallest monitor is the black monitor. it will grow to about 4 to 6 feet. about half the size of this one

  • @flakyfan1 your a dumb ass the smallest is a akie which grows 2 to 3

  • @flakyfan1 the smallest moniter is in no way 4 to 6ft retard

  • @66Fallout66Man66 fuck off i onsetly thought that until i did some research.i have now seen a pigme monitor to be 7inches but i mean montiors are fairly big in general

  • :O these lizards have very long fingers!

  • so cute!

  • Nice monitor... how do you treat level of chlorine int he pool?.... is that full grown 7.5 feet from nose to tip of tail?... Thankyou hope to see more

  • Wow where'd u get them?

  • Are you allowed to buy those?!

  • Yes you can but not a pet for first timers. He is a pro rep owner.

  • sure looks like a komodo dragon

  • ha a water monitor is much smaller than a komodo dragon

  • @HeadSetBoy3P1C it is not but a close relative in evolutions book

  • Damn that moniter is huge how long is it?

  • 7.5 feet im guessing

  • is that an asian water monitor? or some other kind of water monitor?

  • Sumartin Water Monitor its black and yellow. Asian are all black.

  • @animedudevid but then form what I know the sumatrans are the biggest in the monitor world am i right? bigger than the asian?

  • @animedudevid Asain water monitors are black and yellow. I have one.

  • @dug420420 ya your right but Asains dont get 6 ft long do they like Sumartian do right?

  • @animedudevid Asian water monitors can actually grow up to 9.5 long tho its rare to see a male past 6 ft after WW2. However with Sumatran water monitors its not uncommon to see them at 8ft long.

  • Looks like a Nile monitor just different markings. I think owner of vid said it was a Malaysia monitor. They look really close. I used to have a baby Nile monitor.

  • If they could stand they'd look just like raptors, or if they were 7 feet tall could stand and walk they'd look just like the reptilian species that lives underground.

  • it looks exactly like a komodo...i know there related but that one looks to big to be a reg. water monitor... idk

  • Water monitors are really big

  • isnt the chlorine bad for them

  • the thing is about water monitors that they tame fery easely there like dogs the BUT is that there hugh i mean i think they have been know to get like 8 foot usually they grow to about 7 but if you have the spacce and time there a great lizard if only they were the size of savs

  • lizard beats dog

  • Not beats, EATS!

  • good point

  • But, it's also kinda cutee!! Lol!

  • WOAH!!! That thing is big n' scary!!

  • water mon iters get up to 10 ft

  • Is it safe for him to swim in a pool? Or is that one chlorene free?!

  • duh otherwise lizard would run away from it

  • duh!? well i think my question is pretty good one considering the look of your pool and the fact chlorine can kill. And i hope you dont really beleave that if that pool had chlorine in it that your salvator would know this.

  • i dont have a pool :/

  • is that a comodo dragon?? sorry for the ignorance XD

  • NO definitely not. its a water monitor. komodo dragons get to around 10 feet long, that ones less then 8.

  • and the fact the title says water monitor

  • it's a water monitor. awesome animals. huge scary looking lizards that are easy as a dog to tame

  • i have one too!!! is urs around 5yrs old?

  • asome plz plz plz tell me where to get one i live in canada so i really want tone i how a leo right now /sweet lizard looks like a komodo dragon

  • @rcooper95 water moniters are super freindly not saying savs arent i have 1 of those lol

  • umm oyu have a free room to give up to your water monitor and ok with spending 1000 a year for care and can deal with bites and scratches from a 7 foot lizard and also the every single day water changes ad having to monitor proof the room you put him in?

  • thats a propa nice monitor

  • i know a kid that has one and he keeps it in a little 4 by 4 cage all day and never plays with it. ;(

  • tht is so cool for a pet

  • Good Buchio!

  • jesus what do u feed that thing an entire damn cow?

  • He eats rats and innards of chickens and things like that.

  • What a beauty! Is it an Asian Water Monitor or

a Nile Water Monitor? You all are so lucky. I hope he lives a long life. What type of food does he eat? Keep the great videos coming.

  • Hi, There are no Nile Water Monitors it is just Nile Monitor but it does go in the water and ours is a Malaysian Water Monitor. Thank you so much for the comment. Buchio is such a wonderful beautiful creature with a distinct personality.
