  • Geez this girl is gonna be a somebody BIG!

  • i saw this show for the 4 time last week its back in the uk for a uk tour and it was amazing saw it on its first tour and it hasent chaged i like the sets more than anything

  • This is the same scenery as the show i watched

  • @Dance123JM Probably because this is the touring cast.

  • They should put this song in Breaking Dawn.

  • @rmtmiller interesting were in the movie would you put the song

  • Her singing is quite good

  • Everytime I hear her voice I got the goosebumps! So love her voice!

  • This show was a gem before Susan boyle even heard about it. I hate Susan Boyle.

  • ouch, guys. i mean, i love susan too, but i think - nd i dont think im the only one - that this song was fabb alredy, b4 she sang it.

    totally agree with clinteroni xD

  • Susan Boyle is a tremendous singer, but she doesn't change the song. This is a spectacular song to begin with, and she will do a decent job with it, I'm sure. Just because Susan sings it doesn't make it a good song, Susan just knows how to pick good songs.

  • @clinteroni or hre management know how to pick good songs ;)

  • she is amazing. phenomenal job.

  • I was not that familiar with this song...had to check out what Susan Boyle is supposed to be singing next. It is a pretty song and she will certainly do it justice.

  • no, no, no This can't be turned into main stream tripe too. They've already tainted Les Miserables. Ruining Whistle down the Wind is too much.

  • They didn't taint Les Miserables, she did a tremendous job with that song. Though I do agree that Susan Boyle is not the woman for the job. This is set in Illinois or somewhere similar, and a British accent just isn't right for a song set there.

  • i agree.. i think everything Susan touches turns to gold..

  • Yea, this is a boring song. Susan needs to pick another song.

  • See Tina Arena's version,much better.

  • I', jere because of Susan and find this a bit monotonous as well. I was hoping for something from Cats from Susan. Lets keep everything crossed for her.

  • I looked up the lyrics to this song...Wow if Susan sings this...it could be as good as I Dreamed a Dream if not better. I don't know, it's a pretty sad song but it carries a very positive message.

  • To those who feel this song is boring, I have a feeling that Susan can change your mind! I can't wait to see the beauty she brings to this already amazing song!

  • I'm sorry. I just don't like this song. The voice is great but the song is somewhat monotonous. I wish Susan would pick something a bit more...interesting. However, it's just my opinion.

  • Susan Boyle brought me to this link!

  • Susan Boyle's next song!

  • i have a cpoy of the script of this production this was one of the first andew lloyd webber shows i have seen i saw twice on it uk tour the script i have is of the this show when it was in london

  • Same show same theater!!!!

  • i wus in the houston production at theatre under the starss. i starred as one of the childrenn

  • Lucky.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that wos great

  • I was actually in this show in the hartford cast. she was really nice and fun to work with.

  • i was in that to! but to bad they canceled the tour

  • She is amazing! I wish she would try out for spring awakening

  • I was IN this show! This theatre!

  • Me and a bunch of classmates went to see this on a field trip, and we were sitting in the balcony, and I had this exact view. Woah!

  • Best musical I've ever seen~ I saw it as a part of this tour in Hartford~

  • 3 words,....amazing and beautiful

  • This is a beautiful song made even more beautiful by this wonderful singer. Wow, what a gifted lady...

  • Andrea Ross is awesome. I hope they plan to release a US cast CD recording with her. Apparently she only did the first half of tour so that she could go back to school. Which is cool. Let her be a normal teen.

  • The show closed in February!! I thought it was awesome but the critics hated it. I don't think a CD is possible but I'm staying hopeful. Eric Kunze is amazing...

  • No: CD, Broadway attempt, everything was scraped when the tour closed early. However, Andrea's lovely version of the title song Whistle Down the Wind is available on her CD "Moon River," as well as one other song, which the name is slipping my mind.

  • Well, that stinks. I have her CD, of course. But her performance in this video is actually a lot better than her studio recording. More spirit. And much more conviction in the delivery. Especially like how she delivers the phrase "every signal that you send until the very end" on stage better. It flows better, and is much more natural than on her CD.

Anyway, this is now on of my favorite songs, thanks to Andrea.

  • Please post the whole thing! It's gorgeous! They sing so beautifully together. If the show was as beautiful as this, it should be on Broadway.

  • A truly amazing voice...DAMN

  • Hey - thanks!!!

    :)

  • I SAW THIS MUSICAL! AT THIS THEATRE! God it was amazing...best show I've ever seen.

  • me too! 5th Ave theater right? i SOO wish they had it on dvd, but all i can do is add certain clips to my favorites :( hmmm maybe if we google it we can find a video of the whole show. perhaps someone snuck a camera in and recorded all of it?

  • I doubt it. But that'd be so amazing. I'd die of happyness.

  • I love that line

"Mom sang it better," so funny

  • I love love love this girl! Her voice is just amazing! She's going to be a huge star (:
