@acting303 Why does it matter? Plus, their popularity in South Korea is different from the U.S. Although they debuted long ago in the US, not many Americans know of them. This is actually good they have a movie that revolves around them...in America. o_o

This is like a test: "Can they appeal to the rest of the US and get the recognition they deserve?" They are worthy of better things, but I'm grateful they're getting a chance in the U.S. in a movie, period. Better things will come. :)

Hannah Montana is canceled, and Justin Bieber never had to star in a movie to get popularity(plus, he also spent a long time trying to get his name out as well), so your logic doesn't make any sense. Wonder Girls are popular, but they're not a name everyone knows. TeenNick isn't even bad at all; they could have just been dropped with nothing to do. This is practically their starting point. America is not an easy market to break into.
