  • Understanding and Innovating your Business Model Is Crucial. Analysis na ito ay magbibigay sa atin ang batayan upang sumalamin sa isang pinahusay na modelo ng negosyo, maaari ring maging kabilang ang ilang mga pangunahing pagbabago.

  • Nice video

  • Dayum you boring harvard.

  • Harvard, stop being so smart. Thanks.

  • nice video

  • There's nothing wrong with the interview, I don't want to be mean, but get a life.

  • thank you for posting

  • @iirigo He is stiff because he knows he is speaking about borrowed ideas which everyone knows. There is nothing new in what he is speaking. Anyone involved in innovation will know this.

  • This is pretty much crap. He is talking nothing new. Blue ocean is now white space it seems.

  • What happened to Robin? (I think that was her name) She didn't ask so many specific questions and looked more towards open-ended ones which really let the author speak and progress into areas he/she thought were most relevant. Those are the best types of interviews, not ones where you feed closed questions to the interviewees and essentially tell them what (or what not) to say

  • @ThisHitIsNotWorking

Indeed, this was a very nice conversation where the interviewee had all the space to transfer his knowledge.

  • I was just talking about business models with out board and this helped me formulate an opinion about where we need to go next. One thing is for sure. It's tough to not be planning your next change right now. Understanding a business model is difficult. Maybe changing one is more so. Thanks very much.

  • interviewer is garbage

  • Agreed. And we've found that culture is another big stumbling block to success. Thanks for this.

  • Important topic addressed; the example is helpful; the key components of a successful business model a convincing customer value proposition, a winning profit formula and key resources and processes in place - sound interesting.

I will order the book and as Johnson highlights, as being of particular importance - will invite my people to be engaged in the reflaction of our business model ... ;-).

    Regards

    Hartmut

  • This is really relevant to my business.

Business model innov is difficult to pull off so I appreciate the expert advice about how to make it work.

  • Just lame

  • Well, this is the right time & moment for this topic .

Business Models are getting changes over a period of time.

When you are GLOBAL, all firms must do in order to survive ,you require the White Space.

But in the early part of this decade the manufacturing hub has transferred to China & India.

Even Boeing, they shared the risk with Japanese manufactures, so that is a model where you share the risk.

Business Metamorphosis will drive a firm for Business Model Innovation.

    Regards

    Deb

  • At this time, I think that we all agree that Innovation is the key to stay competitive and to differentiate yourself in this global market.

The problem is: you've been raised to be just like everyone elese.

Starting with your Parents, through School, Media and your Job. They all tell you:"If you don't behave and think like we do, you'll be cast out!"

If you were raised to be just everyone else how do you expect to think different?

This is, what I call at my blog, the Ugly Duckling Paradox.

  • Sorry to say, but how about the interviewer shaping up or thinking about a career shift?!

  • be nice! this is hbp, not the cable.

  • I'm not looking to get entertained, although many of HBR videos are both informative and in some way's entertaining,, and I really dont mean to be mean, but I have to admit she is annoying,,,, It would be nice if she instead of "ok-ing" everything said, countered with some other questions, instead of traversing through questions from the list she has.

Again, I'm not trying to be mean, rather giving her a heads up, leting her know there is room for improvement.
