  • how can you get a community weapon?

  • omg, Edward Cullen's weapon x.x

  • just a bunch of sparkles on normal weapon? how does people even want that shit? same goes with golden wrench (just a statue kill), hat dramas and unusuals...

    oh yeah and saxxy

  • @bestdudeever765 u jelly?

  • @andacg1 not at all

  • @bestdudeever765 Its sorta like a reward for people who contribute to the game so people should care.

  • @Gmananian nah

  • I made a sharpened volcano frag covered in fire with ghosts, i think i win :D

  • awesome :D ... how do I get one ? :3

  • @Destrojah1

Contribute something great to the community. As in, a map you make gets officially accepted, you help fix gamebreaking bugs, make hgih-profile websites (tf2items.com, for instance)...

  • @justcallmeSven k :3

  • poor babies scared of 4% damage advantage from great minded players...

  • The sparkle doesn't appear in first person now. :O

  • Do you know if Particle Effects still work? I tried to apply a particle effect to my ambassador but it only "said" it had it.

  • i saw drunken F00L with it

  • @METArobot You little derp, he's the biggest TF2 Contriubuter out there. tf2items.com , the idle hack,

  • how can i get community weapons? Sorry for such a stupid question. ^_^

  • @FignA01 you only get it if an item you submitted to the contribute ends up in game

  • DO WANT!

  • They should make the sparkles bigger. :D Like, make it so they are incredibly large and shiny.

It's your decision whether to use them or not, but warning: Sniper has Ferret Syndrome. Anything shiny is a Sniper magnet.

  • Spy is a Fag Vampire. HE FUCKING SPARKLES.

  • @DarkAslox

    No...He's just a fag...

    Vampires don't sparkle...If you see a sparkling vampire, it's just a fag who thinks he's a vampire...

  • It's like magic

  • What mod did you use to apply the effects?

    tf2items by asherkin?

  • srry i thought there was a download or somthing

  • i wanna be in the comunity i would do anything. check for hackers mikespamers anything pls pls i just wanna do somthing important for robin anything test a new game

  • Okay dude I kind of feel sorry for you. You don't just ask to do something and then receive a weapon. You do something to contribute to TF2, not expecting a weapon. Like making a map that the TF2 team just so happen to like so much, they include it officially. Or make the tf2items website, write loads of competitive or video guides for new players. Yet even if you do that, there's no guarantee you'll get a weapon for it.

  • @TheChrislikespie

    micspamming isnt even bad >.>

theres a little thing called a mute button, you know

  • Pft. Vampires don't sparkle.

  • That's AWFUL.

  • cant people see you around corners?

  • unless they have that skin installed.... no.

  • Well that looks... Pretty rubbish.

  • ZoMg! tHoSe TiNy SpArKlEs ArE mAkInG mY sToNeAgE cOmPuTeR lOsE fPs!!!1one!!

  • You applied the particle effect to natascha? Well, good thing you were using ambassador?

  • Oops, guess I forgot to change the description from the first vid. :x

  • @SleepyLettuce lol you commite fail there XD

  • Do community weapons do anything different besides sparkle?

  • Nope.

  • they used to grant a 4% damage increase, but as soon as the word got out, everyone screamed OVERPOWERED OVERPOWERED so they changed it to the sparkle particle effect

  • yes, community weapons only have that sparkle effect now instead of the 4% damage increase. valve weapons used to be EXTREMELY overpowered, granting them every single bonus available in the game, but now they just have the "Valve" weapon title, and are at level 100.

  • Yes, I remembered seeing a print from a Valve's back burner that gave health to the attacker whener he hit something, raised his speed and had a giant crit rate.

  • @AshForte No. Valve weapons are overpowered, Commuity weapons are just sparkly. Valve weapons are diffrent.

  • @Hazzard67 notice the date on which those messages were written

    one year ago

yes, when community weapons FIRST appeared in TF2, they actually granted a bonus. a very, very slight bonus, but it DID exist. it was subsequently removed from the game almost the day right after, because YM was flaunting it and people complained.

  • @AshForte Yes I do, I acctully played a year ago.

  • @AshForte well, even if it is .000001% it would be an unfair advantage, sure its not a big deal but it ruins the game. at this point in time i dont care anymkore cause tf2 is fucked up enough. i only play console version now
