Very informative video. My husband and son are wanting to start a business doing this locally and your video was the most effecient in regards to the way the cleaning was done and the equipment. My question is....where did you get your equip? or did you make it yourself?..thanks
Thanks for commenting. I know what you're talking about, we have had to retrieve many brushes and rods from homeowners (and even other companies) have lost in their vents. There really is a lot more to this work than just cramming a rod and brush up a vent. People that think otherwise...I like to call, "Boomer's".
"Boom! I can do that in 20 minutes. Boom! I'll just run a brush up the vent and back down. Boom! Easy. Boom!"
Hi. I cleaning dryer every day. This is good way to clean if you have one solid pipe and no turn. I cal garanty they not pass 2 turns with this hard brush. Pipe is conected together only by duct tape. Pipe can get very easaly disconected. And if get disconected under the drywall, you my friend have problem. I know lot of costumers trying clean them self. You know what??!! they make more problems then before. Brush get disconected, ling get stuck in one big pale.
so basically what you have show me is that as long as i dont mind cleaning the mess I can just do this myself... Just buy the brush attachment for my hand drill? No offense but why would anyone pay for your services after they have seen this video?
Thanks for commenting. I'm sure there's a lot of people out there that think the same thing. If I didn't know better, I'm sure I'd think the same thing too. To answer your question simply: This short video only shows a small part of what we do when we clean a dryer vent/exhaust system. And better than me trying to explain why I think people pay us to do it, the fact that we do this all day, 5-6 days a week, year 'round, should tell you...there's A LOT more to it than you think.
