i got FM8 and im trying to install the VST into Ableton. I dragged my FM8DXi.dll into my plugins folder, rescanned, and its not there. can anyone help me out?

@ErronoxDubstep there are a few issues you might be having. Try maing sure that FM8 is in its own folder, meaning you have an overall VST folder but create one simply named FM8 and put the dll in there.

@lilrj211 add alot of oscillators together, hear the harmonics you want, modulate wave signs if you want, put an lfo on it, control that lfo

@lilrj211 yeah good luck. FM8 is for producers that know what the fuck they are doing. Don't expect to get into FM8 thinking it'll be like Massive and you'll learn it inside and out within a week.

@add4never I never said he/she couldn't do something, they said it themselves in the first place. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. What I definitely won't do, is stand for someone buying (more likely torrenting) a whole fucking program just because they witnessed a little interview in which Skrillex revealed that his larger bass sounds are created in FM8, and decided they want to be exactly like him. So the first thing they did was look up 'FM8 skrillex bass tutorial' on youtube. Original, bro
