Since when are those televised?

The details have been covered there, and have also been displayed by other means, like radio, the Web, etc. Bush 41 said "no new taxes" and was later forced to go back on that by the reality of the situation, and the fact that he made a promise he knew he wouldn't be able to stand by in order to get elected. Dan mentions no letter, and even if he did, the question is about conflict of making promises of the healthcare issue being handled with openness, and then holding meetings behind closed doors.
