All respect due to Thile--does the mandolin add or merely distract? I think the latter. The mandolin notes are not clean nor have they the depth of sound--a harp would have added the piquant contrast yet have been better able to match the depth and richness of other instruments and voice here here.

My hsband died almost two weeks ago. It was this song that I heard so long ago and tucked into my mind, because of his chronic illness. It is so very lovely that I now hear it so very often, when for some time I never heard it at all. . I got to know him 'touching his hand of love' and now must travel my tomorrows alone, with all of my ever so beautiful memories of our love. Thank you for this lovely arrangement. I will treasure it always.
