  • Nossa cara mto bom legal mesmo rsrrs...

  • I have to say that is a lot of equipment. What would happen if you guys stood next to each other and did that; and then knocked your buddy out with the 20 pound tank. Do they make you leave the coat fully unzipped for the drill, it looked like you lost some time there.

  • it werent no 47 seconds...

  • You got it done right at 59 seconds, if you were in my fire department, youd have to do a bit better.

  • Un asiático lo haría en 10 segundos ¬¬

  • well...i didn see him button his bunker pants on, or r they velcro

  • @c75los Most turnouts have Velcro.

  • One of my Engine Company Lieutenants can don turnout and SCBA in about 1 minute 45 seconds which is the quickest I have seen in person.

  • Well done!

  • i sent you a video of one of my pack out... its on youtube... 36 packout ... i was getting a little practice befor the comp. the following morning. hope you can use my video to help you out a little sence then i have shaved that time just a little more.

  • It's cheating if you start with you shoes off. We call in new york style

  • @Rosehillfarm, I agree, Deadeye2020 start with your shoes on, and do it the way your trained to. Check your mask seal, strap your neck strap on your jacket, and you forgot the chest strap. Not impressed at all. Oh and whats the presssure in the bottle??

  • @Jclarkh256 lol...This is not a training video, but thanks for your comments. If this were the real thing I'd be making damn sure I was dressed properly.

  • You can do it under 45... Try it... That could save lifes! :D

  • Now take it off.

  • very impressive. when we did our BA training, we were about a minute and a half with buddy checks. Go Bentley FD!

  • Danm and I thought I was fast (52:10).

  • mom ^^

  • ima load up a vid of me too closing up to get 180000 views

  • My best time is 1:04, but our department record is 0:34 on air, from shoes with no skin showing, and all clips and Velcro in place! Not from Canada but pretty close. (Alaska) Stay safe brother!

  • Damn Canadians are fast, nice work brother

  • what did you wear in the USA as Shoes?

we inb germany wear HAIX stiefel...and what have you wor clothings?

  • Firebat Training

  • #1 did not check mask for a seal #2 did not ckeck tank pressure was the same as your regulater pressure

  • @chevy53100 #1 shoulda been done, #2 should have been done during truck checks.

  • Very nice. I wonder if a firesuit can be designed that has everything ready that you can climb into right away. And what if those suits are already installed in the fire truck - then you can get dressed on the way there and save even more time... Just thinking out loud.

  • @peshozmiata Fire suits are called PPE/Turnout Gear/ or Bunker gear, because of OSHA and other policies getting dressed in a fire truck would be due cause for a firefighter to not wear his seatbelt. This would violate certain policies and would endanger firefighters. As far as your first statement, The SCBA could not be attatched to the PPE because that would severly restrict movement, a technique to go through a tight place would be to remove the air pack (SCBA) (continued

    )

  • @DFF711 and go through the small opening, hole, or wall. Also an SCBA is like a back pack and like any back pack each persons comfortability size as far as how tight or loose the straps are, differs for each person, having the SCBA attatched to the PPE would cause problems for comfortability.

  • @DFF711 What if the air canister were redesigned as a flat tank that covers the whole back area with roughly the same capacity?

  • @peshozmiata Its still a weird concept to think of I feel that it would be too rigid because those air cylanders need to be made of material that wont melt away or get punctured. I feel that if it was like that there is a possibility to lose all your air. Also how would you refill it lol. It's just little things. But hey dont let what I see get you down or anything, we need new innovations in the fire service to keep us safe and to make us more efficient so keep thinking.

  • @DFF711 The idea was an array of long thin cylinders connected together as a "ribbed structure" instead of a single big one, the material wouldn't change. I'm not an engineer or anything, just get thinking sometimes about how the design of things can be improved :)

  • @peshozmiata Well like I said new innovation and improvement of how affective we are is a big need in the fire service. Maybe something like that will be made. Keep thing I love creativity.

  • Hell of a lot easier when you have 1 clip pants and a zip up jacket. Missed the neck strap and didn't turn your tank fully on. 20 second in volation time. Over 60 seconds. Otherwise, nicely done.

  • great job Lt.

  • not bad, when we do core training and get to quick dress, we have to start with our street boots on which is a pain since the fad is zipper sides on then , you can only loose a sec or two though before getting on bunker boots

  • I could do it faster :)

  • nice job not turning your tank all the way on.

  • @MrGnirolrelyt 0:41 .. know what that bubbly sound means...?

  • My record is 45 seconds...only happened once though

  • OHHHH CAANAADAAA!!!!

  • geez thats fast

  • Practice makes perfect, and saves lives too.. good job mate :)

  • And that is how we do it here in Canada.. Good Job

  • Oh man...If I tried this again I'd take like 60 seconds. Starting to look and feel like a Captain. Captain... #16 MFIFR

  • What I wanna know is why the fuck does it matter if your airpack is turned on before you put it on? It's quicker if it's already on. In our trucks they are mounted in the seat so that we can fasten into them while driving without unhooking our seatbelt. Therefor it's already on our back before it's turned on. Make shit easier on yourself n put it on first.

  • @Bandysman98 very true same with volunteer

  • damn is that a steel tank?! lol

  • @tollhouseballer Composite tank.

  • I am a truckie in New York, and we are never allowed to get dressed in the truck, the only thing that gets put on in the truck is the SCBA, everything must be dressed in the firehouse. nothing looks worse at the scene then a bunch of fools getting out of the truck while still buttoning up there coats and putting there helmets on. Truck 1 Ladder 244

  • Fast! Respect.

  • And now you're ready to go Trick Or Treating!!

  • Donning your gear in a truck is foolish and dangerous. Remember guys, you are no good to anyone if your dead. Your safety comes before all else. Never should you be standing is your aparatus while its in motion. Honestly, how much time are you saving by doing it? To do it the right way you should suit up before the truck rolls out.

  • That was pretty good! I thought i was fast with 1:35 but holly shit man. Good job. No one should bash him until they try it.

  • when i learned how to get all my stuff on i was required to put my gloves on right after my jacket so everything was done with gloves on

  • that was 57 seconds no 47 n plus am only 13 and in a course ive done i can get change quicker while traviling in the pump

  • @crazyhazza1234

    He started dressing at 0:10.

  • lol...I did start dressing at 0.10 seconds.

  • @crazyhazza1234 lets see it. gotta walk to talk. oh and if you actually watched the vid he started at 0:10 lol

  • hmm.... what ever happened to getting dressed on the way to the shout?

  • did you have fun wasting air?

  • dont forget to check the seal on the mask most fds will get u on the small details

  • You turn your bottle on before you PUT*** it on.

  • Five things he did that would have got him thrown out of the fire class I'm in. 1.) you start with your shoes on, 2.) He didn't finish securing his pants,3.) you don't the air pack around. 4.) you turn your bottle on before you but it on, and 5.) he didn't secure the neck strap. Other then that he did a pretty good job

  • must say i like that mask u wear, where im from we use this mask that is fastened to the helmet.

  • Americans are like autobots. Here in Greece we take our time, and we leave longer. Cool off.

  • @nakostyfoon Lol, this is in Canada

  • Man I think it sucks a lot on how they train SO much and save peoples lives and yet they get paid like crap!

  • I can don my PPE Without SCBA in 29 seconds...I can throw the SCBA in 29 seconds, and im a rookie lol...Just takes practice...And yes you would have failed FF1 in oklahoma for not clasping that chin/neck strap...but great job bro keep up the good work. And as always...Stay Safe out there.

  • Nice job! Of course, you have a sock hood. Not exactly a reed hood that needs to go inside your coat. That slows things up quite a bit.

  • Scott pack? I love the scotts so much lighter. We use mainly the survivair and msa's but have a few scotts. The only thing i dont like about the scotts are the way they fit my face

  • @McClaren15 You run different pack in your department?

  • @DsnRabble No i am still in training so we use whatever we can get our hands on.

  • dont forget to check the pressure on your tank before you put it on

  • Nicely done. Greetings from Kentucky.

  • 48seconds, nice

  • thats quick but you never checked your SCBA seal

  • What is the time requirment in Canada?

  • I'm 17 in my fire fighter 2 training. my record, Scottpack and bunker gear , is 53 seconds, nice job

  • good job!

  • how heavy does that fire fighter gear get?

  • @skateskool100 im a fire explorer and in full turn outs and SCBA its about 65-75 pounds of extra weight

  • @xXBirDEXx125 you must have some heavy ass shit. Ours is about 40 without SCBA and maybe 55 with it?

  • i get 46 seconds but not with the air cyl and mask. :(

  • i wish my boots were that easy to get into

  • fastest i did mine, full gear on air was 56secs. need to do it for training

  • Damn it, that was even less than 60 seconds... =D I'm impressed!

  • Awesome job! We have a competition going in the house on the fastest gear and SCBA drill. Its a great training tool and breeds some good competition! As for new gear, I have a set of InnoTex thats 6 months old, and I was still able to do this in 0:50...so don't blame the gear, just keep practicing!! We got a couple guys down from 2:00+ to 1:11 with 2 hours of non-stop drills...practice!

  • i think the 60 second drill is a waste of time. this is my opion though. my thoughts on it when i was in firefighter essentials we had to do this and i did but i was allways thinking were learning about safety safety safety well instead of rushing to get your shit on take your time when your on the rig done just go and pack up as fast as you can make sure every thing is on right nomex hood every thing is tight and ready to go the scba will save your life like i said befor my opion

  • Im having problems getting my Zipper to my jacket up, wasting my precious time haha, any tips?

  • @wow2h85 If you get down on your knees after putting your bunker coat on, then you can lean back and it helps straighten the coat out making it so much easier to meet the zippers and zip it up. Saves me time

  • nice! my best time is 1:07 with my bunks all sweaty and gloves all wet.

  • Pretty good but you missed some straps didn't check your air or seal but other then a couple of mistakes not bad

  • Good job, my fastest time so far is 1:09 starting with shoes on and we have to buckle every buckle and snap every sanp. For the guy that thinks it can't be done with new gear. My gear is only a year old.

  • u canadians take way to long

  • @FFTeagan Seems pretty good to me and I'm on the job 15 years and I'm Canadian 2! lol

  • Good Job Sir, Proud Canadian Here Saying That Was Impressively Fast

  • None of this matters when it takes your officer 3 times as long to get on the truck!

  • @rho1782 so true

  • fantastic

  • I do in 30 seconds jajajajajajajajaja (lie)

  • nice

  • sick! I wanna to be a fire fighter :P

  • please!!! in 42 secc. is standart for you foot :)

  • Can you still talk with that mask thing on?

  • nice job dude, very quick

  • if you have all your qualifications and there are no spots open for the team how long does it take for it to open up so you can get a job?

  • im faster, i average 36 seconds. plus you had violations in comp. style and would not pass acadmey cause of the violations. you need to button your pants after you ziped them, your regulater was not hooked into the waist belt, and your coat neck strap was not velcrowed, and you did not tighten the top 2 straps on your scba mask, it appeared to be a. AV2000 by scott. they have 4 straps. alltogether you had 4 vilations.

  • need to check your seal and velcro your neck strap.

  • wish i was that fast LOL . im too slow

  • Holy crap you're fast! Very impressive!

  • Nice Job bro, i can do it in 30 sec, thats also bc im small lol, nice job though bro.

  • @Edgewood141 you mean to tell me you can get on all your gear including air pack and everything being right in under 30 seconds. im not saying your lying cuz i know that its possible but its not all about size either. If you honestly can do nice job like to see a video of you proving yourself.

  • im 16 and going to be a fire fighter. hope i put my gear on that fast

  • @xsheaxmoneyx Practice is the key. Firefighter train from the day they start to the day they retire. No matter how long you fight fire you will always learn something new. Good luck to ya i been a firefighter for a couple years now so im still what they call wet behind the ears but i am glad that im not a probey anymore. Don't be afraid to ask questions about firefighting the no matter how dumb you may think the question is that answer could be your life line.

  • I like the way you put on your jacket, but you didn't check for a seal on your mask. I want better gear cuz its slows me down. I'm at like 1 min 20 sec. cuz my coat has the buttons, and d-hooks. Those take forever!! lol

  • Comment removed

  • @Ltb0b why do you even need zippers :P use something else xD..or ...do it like ermmm you know nevermind I better shut up xD

(but I still respect firefighters :P)

  • way you put on the jacket is great, i started doin that when i seen this, and i down to 35 seconds with just bunker gear and no SCBA, but ive only been FF for about 4 months.

  • lol i suck at this i can put all my turn out gear on between 1:33. &1:30 i hope i can get my gear on fast as you.

  • well it was a great job doing it but your 47 secs was a false time, his neck strap wasnt fastened, then he took off his glove to fix it and then he had to put the glove back on and then time stopped but it was stopped to early... but it was good

  • nice job

..im in high school training to be a firefighter and as of right now i can get all my gear on in 1:03 seconds im working to get under 60 sec

  • old scba

  • thats some heavy breathing

  • Canadian style xD

  • I'm a explorer and I can just pit on the gear without the air pack in 35-40 seconds..I just started though..good job!!!

  • i dont know why but i like putting ont the tank and mask its weird

  • how do you refill the tanks?

  • We use a Cascade Fill Station that uses filtered outside air. No fire department uses oxygen in a fire situation.

  • @Deadeye2020 yeah haha oxygen+fire=bad news bears haha

  • @Deadeye2020

It's just compressed air right? Since straight Oxygen is flammable and the air we breath is mixed with Nitrogen. I'm not sure. I'm just a Explorer right now.

But props on the quick dress. I can dress in 31, without the air pack and mask.

  • @Deadeye2020 lol he does? the oxygen tank would just blow up if the fire is able to penetrate through?

  • @laeyZ oxygen? you mad>?

  • I am a current student in the fire science program and they expect us to do that in 90sec or less of course I epic failed on the first attempt and many attempts after but from what I just saw 90sec ain't shit compared to your time hope I can get that good great job man keep up the great work and pride in that work as well.

  • awesome job!

  • Thanks

  • Damn man lol

  • it is very possible to put them on in sixty seconds or even less,my academy the requirement is sixty seconds or your ass is running

  • forgot to snap your bunkers after zipping them up but still fast as hell

  • nice one brother i can do it in 54 but my bunker gear is sliver from aircraft it alot heaver but the SCBA's r much more easy to use. well god bless you and your family and the station and all in there

  • beast

  • lol awesome.. title doesn't lie haha he finished 60 seconds on the dot haha

  • WOW Ever deadly you guys eh! from your Neighbors from Waskaganish QC, the time is Possible will add soon our Guy with his time.. But it takes alot practice do the best time cause of the Aboriginal Firefighters Competition.

  • get intouch with the closest college to you .... thats what i did they held the fire academy there

  • Hey I am thinking about being a fireman. What does it take to be one? How can I prepare? What do I need to do? I look up to fireman. They are soo bad ass. When everyone is running out of the fire, they run in. If there is any advice you can give to an aspiring fireman, please do so!

  • @sirchristian12 join a volunteer fire department, even if your a minor. Ive been in mine for 1 year and i plan to stay for 4 years. Its good experience and you learn so much. Plus if you want to be a professional firefighter, if you present that you were in a volunteer department for a x ammount of years in your oral exam, then it counts towards you.

  • Awesome video! I'm not trying to discredit your abilities, but that's impossible in some of the new turnouts. That looks like an old set of Globe, very fast & easy to get into. I have a set of Morning Pride, with a truck belt. For the pants zip, Velcro, buckle, close truck belt, then zip coat, Velcro, and buckle. then donn the Scott. When I did it last, I got a minute forty six. Oh I just noticed, ya forgot to do your collar at the end. FAIL! :-P Still cool though

  • Practice, practice and more practice. You can ahieve anything once you put your mind to it. Performing this 60 second task is possible, you'll never know until you try, try and keep trying. That's why fire fighters train, and train and train even more.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Later

  • @PAFyrefiter

ya he's right you didn't do your collar. your neck is open to exposure

  • @PAFyrefiter Our cheif requires us to don all gear in under 1:15 and we have new Innotex! It's difficult but like the other guy said, you'll get faster as you practice. We drill for time almost every day and that helps alot, it has gotten me down to 1:04!

  • I havent done that test yet im a junior but i need to pass every test they give me, well no right away anyways i just havent had any spare time to practice :\

  • Props man! Can you make a video on the jacket layout? I have been trying to figure out how you set your jacket up. Thanks!

  • @dogfireorg You have your collar of your jacket facing your feet, put your arms through wip it over your head.

  • That's it. Place coat on the ground pulling out the inside sleeves to the position you see in front of me.

  • i tried this..fastest time i got was 1:24..and it wasnt even for the test..we were just doing it at my vocational school to see who could do it the fastest. i beat my teacher ^^ haha

  • Bravo. It takes me that long to just put on my boats and pants. Size 13 shoe is harder to put on than probably your size 7or8.

  • holy crap 48secnds thts incredible, i take my hat off 4 u bro tht was amazing.

  • not bad but a tip: once your boots ad pants are on, drop to your knees, less reach no bending over, everythings closer and once again, you dont have to reach

  • 1:07 is my on air donn time

  • Damn. Good job bro!

  • Great job !

  • 10 years of this shit and im inpressed with that man you r a badass keep it up

  • I want to be a firefighter but I'm a little guy.

How strong does I need to be to become firefighter? please help!!

  • @milwaukeemeng

The little guys can squeeze into tighter places which sometimes is important. Anyone can become a firefighter, contrary to popular belief there are actually alot of female firefighters and they are small but they still get the job done! Just go for it, get in shape and go to school. Not all are huge muscle men, well alot are but there are many who are just physically fit and as I said there are many women who are firefighters just like the guys! So size nor sex is an issue.

  • Howdy y'all. Practice, practice and more practice...Spring is in the air. I can't wait for the outdoor training to start.

  • Hi I'm from Victoria Australia and love this stuff can put a BA on in about 1 min considering we have them all ready to go in the locker

    Dominic Trifilo

  • dude why? so long as you can get your bunker pants, hood and coat on before youre in the truck youve got nothing to worry about. why waste your energy rush. because trust me once you start breathing pack air and go inside youll need every bit of both
