  • Man, I'm REALLY hungry right now. I have to experience New Orleans someday, Can you recommend a restaurant where I can try a real authentic jambalaya when I go?

  • @ngrave3 Oh my, thanks, just waiting on Fat Tuesday!

  • You are wonderful!

  • thank you

  • Thank you, I will check that out.

  • Hi, I have a dutch oven that has rusted; how do you clean it? It was my grandmothers.

  • @162easygoing @162easygoing I have never had to clean a rusted cast iron pan or pot, but here is one way I found online. The pans I have in my pantry are usually washed with soap and water and then generously oiled if not used for a while. You may also want to contact a cast iron company for recommendations.

  • @162easygoing Get a new one and keep it dry from water. Like she said, with a little oil.

I use steel wool and scrub off as much rust as I can with soap and water. Afterwards, I oil the pot generously and bake it at 450 for 30 min.

If there is still rust, wash and oil again.

  • MMMMmmmmMmmm!!
