It will be such a loss for America and Science Fans throughout the world when the shuttle goes out of service. What more to want than a Space Plane (shuttle). Seems that all nations will be flying pods in the future. Of course ìf it`s safer then it is better in the long run. Nasa will probably be capable of doing way more missions if they have a far cheaper Orion Vehicle so the Science could Benefit enormously. But still; i will miss this beautiful machine.
the shuttle was a pinnacle of human tech knowhow. though it did not fulfill the initial operations frequency(50 flight a year) it still outlived its typical 14 year service.
next time US builds a shuttle, no more politics and mismanagement.
Yes; That`s hard to believe but if it`s true that`s really cool. Then Let`s hope for you the famous saying; Like father like sun is true. The future of humanity seems to be in space anyway. The harder we try the better chance we have. I wish European bureaucrats would begin to invest more money in Space Exploration.
