nobody wanted it, it's very expensive, it only goes through the wealthy areas, it will cut bus capacity for everyone else, they are heavier (therefore less energy efficient) the contractors have held the city to ransom, the number of shops that have closed because of the diversions, people will have to transfer from buses to tram when before the bus would go where you want it, they make a horrible squealy noise , the ugly cables are back on Princes street. is that enough for you?
Well I guss you have your view, but if you look the Blackpool systam the oldest tramway in Britain is essentiol to residents & tourists alike as it the best way of getting from end to the other
then you have the Manchester of i have used as much as the Blackpool one they are very rerely late usally on time like it or not the Tram is well & truly back, the buses are fine but trouble is drivers tend to dawdle
ugh i hope they dont finish building the trams in edinburgh
