Haha, this video is 2 years old and I still can't beat it.

I've achieved 110km/hr with a 1/16th model, the box also states that it's a 1/18th model, so not sure what it really is.

I'm gonna have to put in a 6S to beat the 122km/hr speed! And hope nothing explodes!

i have a 70T spur gear and a 26T pinion

and have a brushless motor with a gear ratio of: 8,0:1. mine internal ratio is 2,6154. if i do 70/26= 2,6923 x 2,6154 = 7,04 is that to low for mine motor

overgeared. ( or undergeared i dunno sure)

How do you check the speed of 81,8 mph?

I use a GPS logger

I use the myth buster method. You use a digital camera with 30 or more frame rates per sec. The fame count per sec is extremely accurate. You set up multiple cones at fixed intervals *I set mine up in 10 feet series, and you video it. My average run counted 20 ft in 5 frames counting from the front wing at 30 frames a sec. So it just math from there. 120 ft/sec -> 7200ft/min -> 432,000 ft/hr -> 81.818181 mph

Counting only 5 frames is not accurate enough...sorry. The method is ok, but you have to count for 100 or more feet.

The better way is GPS oder radargun.

The 81 mph is just a rough estimate. There are times where it would cover more than 20ft in 5 frames and times where it was slightly less, I just rounded down to be safe.. I'm only doing this just for fun though.

Ich hab für die Helios alle Module, da kauf ich so schnell keine (zu teure, aber schicke) DX3. Probleme kamen wohl von der Bahnoberleitung und nicht kpl geladenen Akkus.
