On the note of what Kadish did to those who built Ahnonay, it reminded me of a story I heard about Ivan the Terrible. He commissioned some people to work on building a beautiful basilica in St. Petersburg. And when they had finished building it, it was so beautiful that Ivan ordered that the workers' eyes all be gouged out so that they could never build anything as beautiful as what they just had built.

Not sure if the story is true or not.

the hand railings in the control center is probably for kadish if he was working in the control center and someone activated the mechanism which could possibly throw him around. also once you get to the center place you should send nora back to the island to activate the mechanism so we can see it move

This is probably wrong, but part of me wants to believe that he used the Bahro. Remember in Myst V during one of Yeesha's viewer videos how she ranted that "on their backs this fallen empire was built." Assuming the "their" she's talking about is the Bahro, it would explain how Kadish was able to build Ahnonay while at the same time keeping it a secret. Because who would understand (believe) a Bahro?

Man, the noises in the control center are so creepy.

Also I love that big freakin' crack in the sky. When I first played I thought it was some kind of weird structure on one of the islands, but since I figured it out, I've just laughed every time I've seen it. Ahnonay is hilarious.

What is Sven going to try?! Oh, the suspense.
