My 2 cents. The thing I have a problem with is the transition between different emotions. You're able to sell the insecurity and the spontaneous outbursts of enthusiasm, but I am not buying that you're feeling these things. It is too obvious how you are doing this; what you thought as an actress at that moment. I can hear you think, but not her. I think you'd have to work on that. Task from me, if you like: dialogue with your boyfriend. You're trying to break up. He cant accept that.

I disagree with some comments I've seen here - I think the acting, and the writing (or improvisation, or whatever the combination might have been) was quite good. You nicely capture a person who so compulsively tries to be whoever she thinks the listener wants her to be, that she doesn't even realize she's doing it, except for those times when the mask slips. Then you get a peek at the real person, partly ditsy, partly confused, and partly just real and down to earth. Kudos!

I am not sure I'd want to see you in anything because you are so aware of the camera. The eyes bug, your mouth does funny things. Those things are Laura and shouldn't cross over into every character. Work on these and you can do better.

My 2 cents. The thing I have a problem with is the transition between different emotions. You're able to sell the insecurity and the spontaneous outbursts of enthusiasm, but I am not buying that you're feeling these things. It is too obvious how you are doing this; what you thought as an actress at that moment. I can hear you think, but not her. I think you'd have to work on that. Task from me, if you like: dialogue with your boyfriend. You're trying to break up. He cant accept that.

I disagree with some comments I've seen here - I think the acting, and the writing (or improvisation, or whatever the combination might have been) was quite good. You nicely capture a person who so compulsively tries to be whoever she thinks the listener wants her to be, that she doesn't even realize she's doing it, except for those times when the mask slips. Then you get a peek at the real person, partly ditsy, partly confused, and partly just real and down to earth. Kudos!

Great job!
Though, the acting was not convincing and rather not realistic. To me it seemed more like you were mocking at one particular person instead of acting a scene or showing a glimpse about online dating. I like most of your work. I hope you will improve more. So, keep them coming.
