In fact you need to have a normal IQ or above normal to have Aspergers. If your IQ is too low, you might get diagnosed with PDD-NOS instead, another type of autism.

I also thought the IQ was off too for mild, moderate and severe MR, profound too. You need to have an IQ below 70 to be MR, not 75.
