  • the randomness of the images and the song itself are too fucking funny XD XD XD not-a-christian pride!

  • when u think about it in the bible god killed millions of people destroyed whole civlisations yet Satan killed a herd of pigs and 16 people now tell me whos the bad guy and christians destroyed countless faiths and records of ancient knowladge the only ones that held out for long was the norse but even they was felled by the false desert gods cuz they was too tolarate.

  • @modmadness1 But God created the universe and Satan tried to destroy it.

  • @0GBrooklyn there all lies

  • @100fuckthepopo I thought so too, but when I was close of defying the motivation of the universe God intervened and explained it all to me. He was lonely and this whole crap was to divide his concience into multiple beings. Thats it, God has reproduced to his own image. And certain spirits think he had no right, because of the unjustice of life. FUCK THE UNIVERSE :p

  • Tits at 0:37! EPIC.

  • No one knew who they were, or...what they were doing!

  • whoever made this slideshow has to be down with the syndrome fucking retarded to think that Godzilla is a part of Occultism.

  • @Biomechanoid77 If you haven't figured out that humor is a magickal weapon, you're never going to get anywhere in "Occultism."

  • @kynoceph Thats correct Satan has a sence of humor

  • @Biomechanoid77 Yeah maybe, but it still makes me really happy.

  • Come to the Sabbat!

    Forget the Camarilla!!

  • I'm coming, I'm coming!

  • Dear Kynoceph,

I was wandering from witch movie the tempting lady with the fire in her hand comes.

If you can help me out I would be gratefull because I want to see more of her.

    Thanx already,

    Nico

  • I don't see what the problem is - its Rock and its unique! you wanna hear the other songs on the album - beats Graham Bond and some of Jimmy Page's stuff Year he's a magician too!;D

  • used to play at very loud volume to scare the neighbours lol

  • Oh, God, I'm one of those agnostics who thinks monotheism is generally a good thing for society(though I'm agnostic, as I said), but this is one hypnotic tune. The instrumentation and arrangement are quite charming.

And I must confess that when I first heard this song, the chorus(yes, do come to the Sabbat, Mr. Satan will be there in the flesh)was in my head for days.

  • Was looking for this song for ages:)

  • Czarownice do bzykania gdzie?

  • me and my friends had to do a cover/medley of this, we recorded it and it got out of hand. Let me know if you want to hear it... if you can hack it.

  • Come to the sabbath...sabbath...sabbath...sabbath.. lay your soul at His feet.

  • 7 people went to church instead.

  • BLACK SABBATH, BLACK WIDOW, PRETTY DARK NAMES AND THEN BLACK METAL WAS BORN

  • lmmfao at godzilla....

  • he picture of Godzilla just killed me xD

  • SOUND MIXER: I'm sorry boys but we have to record it again. I just don't think your saying Come to the Sabbat enough. I need more COME TO THE SABBAT (cowbell)

  • This version of the song (and thank you for posting it), is the first I heard. I have come to understand most purists and original band members dislike this version. And I disagree with all of that. Formative impressions are important and this is the true version of this song, to me.

  • Holy fuck dude! I just stumbled upon this, I like it, alot.

  • This sounds like satanic version of Jethro Tull. Awesome!

  • @setyourselfonfireeee Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. "Jethro Tull really went dark here..." I bet this song was so hardcore in it's time. Now it's just hilarious. Check out the Propagandhi cover if you haven't already.

  • @amaddb04 I'm pretty sure it was. I'm way ahead of you on the Propagandhi cover. haha It's ridiculous! I love it!

  • ich finde es von mercyful fate besser aber black widow regiert ! ohne widerworte ! <3 i love it

  • Wow. Mercyful Fate blows this shit out of the water.

  • BEAUTUFULLLLLLL MUSIC

    GOOGLE JOHAN CAPIAU

  • good recording

  • lol godzilla!

  • 2:01 lol

  • O-Ho! Other Pagans and Heathens here kool I guess I'm not the only 69 year old magician remembering his mis-spent youth...;)

  • I have the original Vinyl LP, from which I have made a couple of backup CD's - great band - beats Black Sabbath, Haze and other shitty bands! If you want other music of the same genre try Graham Bond's Holy Magik - taken from an authentic Kabbalistic Rite (Jewish). Graham Bond was friends with Jimmy Page and Mark from T-Rex - all studied Magic and were long-time friends.

  • I have the original Vinyl LP, from which I have made a couple of backup CD's - great band - beats Black Sabbath, Haze and other shitty bands!

  • Heard this song one night at a beach fire in Porthcawl. Its awesome, it became the most joyous 'dance around the fire' song in my camping collection

  • @TheEarlos99 Wish i had been there Clive Jones writer of the song

  • Thanks!

  • yes the last pictures sums it all up....

  • More music will be out in 2011 with Tony Martin(x Black Sabbath singer) collaborating.I know.I'm also part of this new release :)

The song is called " Hail Satan" and it can be heard on my facebook ;)

  • brings back my youth! love it :)

  • This is more a medieval folk song than a rock one. The best part of the song is the chanting--it has a mesmerizing effect on the mind.

  • Eerily beautiful melody. I especially like the violins. I heard this song more than 30 years ago and could never find it until recently. Thanks for posting.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaa..AAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. and so on, with the flute :) Nice one!

  • Ooh the flute reminds me of Jethro Tull!

  • i remember my dad playing this song over and over when i was a kid. this and black sabbath's sweet leaf. the 2 songs i remember from my childhood :o)

  • Cheesy lyrics aside, this could actually be good for background music in a ritual!

  • @femoman

"COME, COME, COME TO THE SABBATH, COME TO THE SABBATH, SATAN'S THERE!" that was cheesy lol.

  • @WoodRatGirl it's so funny! me and my friends sing it in lectures :)

  • that first picture is pretty sweet, do you know what it is called?

  • @lSTAYHlGH

Not sure but it reminds me of sacrificing a human "lamb" to the slaughter.

  • 3:57 4:18

    i would.

  • come come come to the sabbat...

    ....nos pondremos esotericos esta noche..,

  • Saxondale!

  • Ok, i'll go...

  • It is a shit music...

  • cool slideshow, and of course this classic song still rocks!!!

  • Where you have take the photo at 1:03???

For the song...I'm a great fan of Black Metal and I think this is a precoursion of the time with the lyrycs and the thematic of the song.Great piece of music and you're description is right,"Occult Rock"..

  • I'm on a quest to find an MP3 of this song. Classic.

  • Well, the band is rather cheesy, but the images rocks m8.

Would be cool for a retro halloween party!!!

  • havent heard or even thought of this album for 35 years , thanks for posting this

  • at about 1:30 it starts to sounds kinda jethro tull-ish

  • Black Metal starts here....

So after 10 years Venom was in parade...

  • very 666

  • One of my favorites of all time1

  • I'm suggesting Angie Bowie cover it for her

Steampunkrock Revue here In Los Angeles...

  • Great heavy prog!

  • very interesting song indeed

  • Interesting pics in the video :)))

  • Oooh I'm scared! This sounds like something Mr. Rodgers would come up with. Pat Sajak trying to go Satanist on me! LOL!

  • I used to make love listening to this when I was 18, it´s a sweet part of my life.

  • this sounds like a combination of jethro tull and propagandhi.. and awful

  • Sorry you feel that way but its up to you remember this is now 40+ years old and the original before Prop

  • You do also realize that propagandi sound nothing like this and they only covered the song as a joke because it's incredibly corny.

  • Well thats not quite true as i happen to be on tour with Prop at this very moment

i know the story behind it im just about to leave for the cardiff gig so will reply after , tell you this its the one that gets the kids going

  • ah.. feel kinda like a jerk saying that to you haha.. tell them to head to halifax

  • Ha Ha not a problem i have sent you a private message

  • @drpesky Hello Master ;)

  • I saw propagandhi last night and they did this song and had a guy from black widow.

  • Ha ha that was me

  • @iglybo really? that sounds immense.. I love propagandhi, I'm also a huge ska fan... go figure!

I love the jazz flute on this, works really well!

  • Yeah, it was awesome, propagandhis my favorite band.

  • @iglybo The guy you speak of is Clive Jones ;) Propadandhi is an awesome band :)

  • @Insideout667 I happen to know both bands.You're full of it..LOL

  • creepy shit lol

  • Wow this is very jethro Tull.

  • this is rock progressive '70, jethro tull didn't create it, Balck Widow Are Black Widow!

  • What?

  • woooah... this music is great. It´s kinda like jethro tull

  • Jethro Tull sucks...plain and simple

  • It doesn´t suck.

  • Yes, yes it does...and you're a moron

  • Tell me an argument for your first response to my comment, and then tell me why you called me a moron...

  • You're a moron because I SAID YOU ARE.

  • that´s mature, kid... go FUCK yourself

  • why can't we go to the sabbat and shut up?

  • the dude called me a moron just because he thinks Jethro Tull sucks... Deeply sorry, but I can´t have that.

  • so he thinks Jethro Tull sucks- that's his problem

  • Of course the kid with Steel Panther and.. Folk .. black metal (? Or this may be called shit) in his favourites thinks Jethro Tull sucks..

We all know who doesn't have good taste here!

  • Satanic rock before the time of black metal.

  • whats the pic at 2:21? thats awesome! haha

  • Cool images bro! i love this song

  • hail satan

  • Hi

Hail satan is the title of the new follow up song to Come to =

  • Strange how 'Leicester' and 'progressive rock' kind of don't fit! :)

this tune always put me in mind of Family, it's a bit like Weaver's Answer in parts.

  • Great and extremely talented Leicester based progressive rock band. their gig at the 1970 Isle of Wight festival went down very well (minus stage rituals banned by the organizers).

  • Hahaha, very serious indeed. Especially the flute.

  • Well wait till you hear the follow up ha ha

  • hehehehe, fuckin hell.

  • whats the name of the picture at 2:38?

  • :-)

  • I met the flautist on tuesday, nice bloke...

  • @Oscar301 You met Clive? ;)

  • @sylvielovesmusic Yes! In my last job I did my training with him :)

  • love this song and video!

  • Thanks. Black Widow's CDs are still out there to be found. I really am surprised that my little slide show gets so many good responses - Black Widow themselves deserve all the credit.

  • fair play, nice slideshow!!! we have 100s probably 1000s of stone circles in Ireland here, some just down the road.. the problem is the history has never been written on what they were for so it only speculation!!!

Ill do up some form of slideshow at the end of the summer after visiting & photograph them. Most ppl dont realise its the history that fascinates, that pre christian times there was a whole other world of paganism and druidism that was lost and often hidden away!! Io Saturnalia!!

  • There is a painting featuring a couple women and a man dancing around nude..can anyone tell me the name of the painting?

  • The painting "The Triumph of Mischief" by Kent Monkman comes to mind.

Maybe because it is featured as the cover art of Propagandhi's "Supporting Caste." They covered this song on that album.

  • Trying to reply to a comment asking for the name of a painting, thanks youtube.

  • Cool visuals to a cool track man.

Can you tell me what the recurring image is? It appears at 0:12 and 1:01

  • The image is "La Danse Du Sabbat," an engraving from the book, "Histoire de la Magie" published in 1884, author "P. Christian."

  • Cheers matey

  • I take this S.O. seriously that I had to ignore your advice of not replying. Srsly. Fucking good song. Cooollive da mannnnnnnn. We speak the same language, ja?

  • fantastic all the witches dance hail sabbat

  • ASTAROTH!

  • satan 's there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why is it that most bands from the area these guys are from worship satan?

  • He's their uncle.

  • Hahaha, i love this track, even though im a BM fan i can appreciate the roots were good.

  • Ik heb de LP nog. Mooie plaat.

  • This is a weird version...? My version from the original album goes a bit faster...

  • This is an earlier version than the one from the original album - taken from a CD called "Return to the Sabbat" which contains early versions of the songs, recorded when the band had a female vocalist for some songs.

  • Why didn't this band make it big in the US? I really think this band should've been a much better known band than they were

  • They didn't get good promotion. And anyway in the US they were even more uptight, they were still burning Beatles records back then.

  • a fucking great band awesome

  • great song XD

  • fantastic all the witches dance hail sabbat

  • propagandhi cover this on the secret song of their new album 'Supporting Caste'

  • the song was originally recorded for a children's record but the company refused to press it if they kept that song on it

  • (propagandhi that is)

  • OMG!! This slide show is hilarious!!

Awesome song, though (I love Black Widow).

  • Hahahaha. This is hilarious. I love it.

  • OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The last song off the new Propagandhi album all makes sense now!

  • i know I was worried they'd turned into fucken hippies

but they've just been listening to hippies

    lol

  • New Prop. album rules all!

They just get better and better with time. Most intelligent lyrics from any band I've ever heard and they've progessed as musicians so much!

  • somebody has to do a clip of their version of this song...

i'll get onto it sooner or later

  • Just a reply to your description. I don't take this seriously, but the band themselves did. They said themselves that what distinguised them from bands like Black Sabbath was that they actually did practise the black magic they spoke sang about.
