Oh, God, I'm one of those agnostics who thinks monotheism is generally a good thing for society(though I'm agnostic, as I said), but this is one hypnotic tune. The instrumentation and arrangement are quite charming.

Just a reply to your description. I don't take this seriously, but the band themselves did. They said themselves that what distinguised them from bands like Black Sabbath was that they actually did practise the black magic they spoke sang about.
