  • break9away - i'm... i'm surprised. Why I haven't thought about this earlier?! both movie and music made great impression on me. There must be something behind it that just a matter of our imagination. You're right! Both are connected! amazing... Immortal remains on of the most amazing movies I've seen.

  • exelenteeeee, gran cancion exelente video me fascino

  • This is a great Song!

  • I remember this song being regularly played on radio caroline which I always listened to

I was 18 at the time happy days

  • the best video all the time

  • i love it!!

  • I had the comic but never knew about the existence of this film before seen you video. Thanks a lot for that.

And yes, they seem to talk about the same thing, images and music ;)

  • el mejor video del mundo,

    Miguel swenson

  • great insperation black and wihte cames together respect 4 ur fine work of art thx 4 this great upload

  • I think it's perfect! It works great! ;)

    Thanks!

  • SUPERB!!!

  • The choir, violins and the amazing trumpets in the middle, make this song a classical one. Pyramid and Turn of a Friendly Card are my favourite APP-albums. Great video also!

  • thats pretty sweet

  • What a great match!!! Well done!

  • It is now 2 years ago that I saw your video for the first time.

And I still think that music and video make a "perfect match".

    Thanks for your contribution break9away!

  • Goooooooood!

  • Great song from a great Performer like Alan Parson to a very great video, 5 Star

  • Well done!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was like watching Stargate all over again lol~

  • Perfect video accompaniment to what is truly one of APP's most enduring and memorable songs!

Amd just think, the lead singer on this song was the lead singer for Pilot...remember that cheesy 1975 song Magic? ("ho ho HO it's MAGIC, you kno-ow, never believe it's not soooo!") Yeah, MUCH better song here! :D

  • Yes, and David Paton was, and is, his name. He also sang, among others, for Camel "Heroes" from the album "The Single Factor". He collaborated a lot with groups such as Alan Parsons and Camel, besides being the lead singer of Pilot, who produced the hit "January' which went top of the charts in early 1974.

  • link the voyager and what goes up videos together as one. Since it is a tie-in tune. Thanks!

  • Good Call! I don't know where you found this movie, but the visuals worked as if its creator had listened to the album about a thousand times more than I have!

  • este video y la musica ,es super chingon.

  • Wow! Just WOW!!!

  • Booaaahhhhh

  • ok what the hell did i just watch..? great imagination, and the cat person human thing had nice tits, the eagle looked awsome!

  • What a great way to modernise an ancient theme. Inspired vocals by David Paton.

  • I really like this song. Your music video made me go watch the movie. While the movie really didn't make much sense to me, I really do think that you incorporated it well with this song. I'd have to agree with you that this movie seems to have been made for the music. :)

    Good work.

  • Thank you very, very much. Strange connections, don't you think? Seeing the movie and thinking about the video was a moment. Who knows if the original author was inspired by the album?

  • @break9away What`s the name of the movie?

  • I love all of the early works of APP...Pyramid, is my favorite. Amazing work!!

  • fuck oath man

i dig pyramid to a great extent

voyager then wat goes up sets it all off perfectly

  • i could really use recommendations on what are other alan parson pieces like this?

  • Also try "Tales of Mystery and Imagination", their first album, and Parsons personal favorite. But lots of good ones to pick from. I Robot, Eye in the Sky, Ammonia Avenue.

  • Alan Parsons Projects!!!!! EXCELENT!!!

  • Holy cow! Perfect! Yeah, and who's Enki Bilal?

  • OLD YOU NEED IS APP!!!!!jeje

  • Great,great job.Love this vid.Who's Enki Bilal

  • Huge Parsons fan, eh? Check my channel! APP video archive. See in playlist APP4 the best fanmade.. including many videos about Pyramid - one fan is doing them for all album!

  • i sAy BriLLiant!!! Nice ... and Smooth...

  • brilliant job! video works very well with this APP song.

  • sensational awesome video .

  • video & song sync up perfectly...

    great tune!

  • me encanta tanto ke lo escucharia toda la vida

  • Excelent combination of video with the song. Excelent song!

  • Of course my personal images of mythical APP's Pyramid are of ancient Egypt, but this goes well with the sci-fi component of the Alan Parsons Project. Immortal is a great movie. Stargate is another movie which combined Egypt and sci-fi and could well work for an APP's video from Pyramid.. I just gave you a new idea!

  • I must say that I agree with Kohl93. This is a good rendition of the original Alan Parsons Project recording, even though I hadn't seen a previous recording. I have the record!!

  • this is actually not a video, but footage from the movie "immortal" by enki bilal. the movie was one of the first to use the "digital backlot" for special effects, meaning thgat only the actors are real but the rest is digital (actors are filmed in front of blue or/and green sceens). other movies done like this are: "sky captain","sin city" and "300".

  • I heard this in 79ish in Spain and bought the album. Awesome !! I no nothing about the guy but I'll always love this album !!

  • i love this song... the visuals on this video ...wow!

  • EXCELLENT!

  • maravilloso tema

  • there are good parts and bad parts. Good movie overall, though.

  • really nice!!!! i love it!!

  • PARSONS PROJECT EST IMMORTEL....

  • Greaqt stuff!! thanks for sharing!!

  • I couldn't be more agree with you. This songs match perfectly the song in every aspect. Good Job.

  • Great edition job! And Alan Parsons music sound cool with this clip.<BR>

It comes from the movie "Immortel (Ad Vitam) based on the really cool comic from Enki Bilal, a great french comics author.

The site of this movie is immortel-lefilm dot com.

    Enjoy!

  • Awesome! Did you cut the video to match to the music? Great story telling! Great video, great music, great cut! Thanks!

  • I have to agree with tamiohonma, & Dr Tarr - it looks awesome! Great Idea!

  • It is pretty to look at but makes no sense? How about a video that follows the lyrics of the song? At least the chorus.

  • fantastic... goob video good music

  • cool well done job

  • fantastic

  • Enchanting!! The figures and pace meld so well with the music. The imagery has the right elements of mystery that the Alan Parsons Project evokes musically. Great job!!

  • Great stuff!

  • Bilal! cool

  • Great job ... I love the movie

  • Extremely well done. It's like the animation was made with this music in mind

  • A perfect combination!

  • ohhh this is awesome. you're right--these 2 works fit perfectly together! thanks so much for sharing!! :D

  • Exactly! Too bad the rulers of the late 2nd Dynasty curtailed their space exploration funding, oipting to breed more aloof hairless cats... hey, whatcha gonna do?

  • Cool Combination !

I love both: the movie and the music.

    You made a perfect match.
