So much for the Afterglow was one of my favorite CD's from ANY band in the 90's! Played a major role in the six month stretch between the end of 8th grade and my freshman year in high school in 1998! What a great CD!

Everclear were never the most original band and Art seems like he may be a bit of a docuchebag in person and still he wrote and performed so many songs that managed to stab me deep. Whatever is lacked in raw talent and originality is more than made up for in pure real emotion and the ability to not only tap into but express how everyday normal fuc*ed up people feel. I could always relate to Art's songs and they helped me get though some rough times. I will always love them for that.

Funny thing about this is i ''had'' a father figure that would make me pick music from rolling stones music store in chicago even when i didn't even give a shit ,i was was like 12 and he wasn't my real dad.
