@jcremayer2 make sure you hit ppp the instant the stick slides to DF, it can't be after (i hit them between D and DF)

To play as Shin Akuma, you have to beat arcade mode as Evil Ryu (which means beating Shin Akuma as the final boss, not easy even with Evil Ryu) Then you hold select while choosing Akuma and you get Shin.
