Before you do this take out your memory card, you will loose your naked pics or what ever you have on there lol coz it don't back up your phone then it puts the update on the phone

Take out the battery of blackberry then open blackberry desktop connect it to you laptop leave battery out off phone, you will have a box come up sorry you need update phone software dead click update then when is waiting for initialisation then put the battery back in the phone it will carry on install applications to phone then you will see the blackberry start up it will say it will take 30 mind to boot up just be patient lol hope this helps

i try to upgrade my bold 9000 handset today and i got the same screen as this video has.

i fix it by redoing all the upgrade again (using loader software) and it eventually continued the upgrade:P

and that's how i fixed it.

try to repeat what you have done!

i have the same problem READ THIS as i tried it and worked for me...

1st. take your battery out

2nd. charger your BB for 10 sec

3rd. take the charger out put the battery back in

4th straight away put the charger back in

5th wait 5mins

Hey Dude , I had the same sytuation but I sorted it without problems ;)

- Try DOWNLOAD free BBSAK - this program will WIPE everything from your BB

- CONNECT your BB with PC

- OPEN BBSAK

-do not put any password when program ask you , click OK choose

- Choose WIPE , accept , and done ;)

- close BBSAK

-download BB DESKTOP SOFTWARE and open it ,

-connect BB to PC

- later do what BB desktop S. saiyng you , UPGRADE and instal , thats it ;)

i have such a problem with my curve 8520. It was happened when i do hard reset (pulled out my battery) and it goes stuck when booting. When i try solving with desktop manager loader, the loader recognized my PIN (it won't show the PIN: UNKNOWN part) so i thought, i can't reinstall the OS. It get me frustrated.

PS: i t was twice in probably 6 month since i bought it. The last time it happened, it goes back by it self, after i pulled out the battery, sim card and mmc for a day.

I downloaded the desktop software but it WOULD NOT CONNECT! -_- so i pulled out the battery and inserted the cable THEN put the battery back in, then i cant remember where i found it but it says UPDATE somewhere, CLICK IT:D and wait for your phone to update and for the white screen to eventually go:D

this happened to me but a different error code basically plug it into ur pc and the it shoukl say ur bb is not recognized on the bottom it should say do u wat to try again or update it press update and then just follow further instructions

just open blackberry desktop manager and plug your bb in, then click aplication loader and then update. after this process your blackberry will restart.(if you need help just ask)

I fix my blackberry curve 8900 with reload software 552 message.Download the blackberry desktop manager from your cd rom. Connect your blackberry to the laptop via usb then go to option application loader on the blackberry desktop manager. Go to option add/remove applications. It will ask for the device password if you got one setup on the device. It will connect to your blackberry device and you will see all your applications. Delete any new software which cause this message to come up.
