hey man, nice equipment.... BUT:

use your ears and focus on smooth transitions. thats the most important thing.

effects: the less the better. u have to use them perfectly, otherwise they sound dull.

and last but not least: you want to make some kind of build especially in a 10min mix so in my opinion you should have played the first track at the end. after the first one u kinda make ur expectations. because of this, the 2nd one (even if its a catchy tune) sounds boring.

I havea quick question at first i wanted a pair of cdj 1000 mk3's but alot of people told me instead to buy the cdj 850's or 2000 so i looked in to the 850 and saw the new black models so i like them too but i was wondering what do you think is better also the same with the pioneer djm 700 i want to buy but i have heard good things about djm 800 i dont really have the money but if i want i can get the 800 but i heard its a 600 + money difference for 4 effects help pls!!

I don't like so much this mix, you should use less effects which are totally useless, and work on transitions which are very important, in fact you're not so smooth.. For example, what you've done at 6.51 with the pitch of the first deck? And at 2.25 how you've sync the track? You've only read how many bpm the track was on the bpm counter and fix it? Learn to do everything only with your ears, not with the display ;) I hope you've understand everything (my english is not the best :) )

Sorry man if i disapointed you and wasted your time, but next time, read the discription! (It was my first gig on these, and i wasn't really good at beat matching.) Just for you to know, i am not a professional, and not intending to be one, just having fun with the things i like. I will try next time to do better :)

I agree with you the fact i used a little bit too much the fx section! But anyway, i say it again, i had fun, that's the most important thing! ;)

@lilrb79 the 900 has the link function which the 850 does not... the 900 has the ethernet port in the event you want to buy the 900nxs which allows prodjlink
