  • @marksIItimewarps yeah I forgot about downward coning, the rotor blades can only be negitively coned so far and in this state cyclic control is more like to cause tail boom contact, thanks for your input!

  • @hondacrxrus there's no mast to bump in a rigid rotorhead! The flexible blades compensate for it. Fully aerobatic '3D' RC helicopters are also setup with rigid rotorhead with very little damping if any which also eliminates mast bumping but most importantly, preventing the main blades from striking the tail boom or any part of the craft!!
