EVDO is 5 to 8 times faster then EDGE almost every test proves it. Edge is limited in speed. whereas EVDO is just scracthing the surface. Again it's what's important to the user. Wait till the 4G EVDO comes out, EDGE you better get out of my.

this is a very good comparison if you ask me. Helio Ocean vs. the Apple iPhone. Of course, the Ocean currently beats the iphone in internet speeds. But the iphone definitely wins when it comes to the quality of the web pages. It looks very very much like a computer screen when web browsing. I think we need a feature comparison because both of them are packed with multimedia feats.

See there are 3 problems with this video:

1. Of course the helio will be faster. EDGE Sucks!

2. You can't compare these two phones. One is really gay and the other is, well an iPhone.

3. Did you notice how much nicer the web looked on the iPhone. Sure it took a little longer but it is a lot easier to use and look a whole lot nicer. I would say that after about 45sec the iPhone site was usable.

Touch navigation is overrated. Opera Mini, my friend. No third party apps, but there are plenty of helio apps so who cares! Helio has had 3G out for a year.

Um, apple doesn't do phone service, Helio is the Mobile device and the carrier.

Helio way: device issue, call helio/ service issue call Helio! Apple's way: device issue, call who? Apple? Phone company? go to store where you bought it? Service issue again, who do you call?

Im sorry, but you cannot compare a phone's touchscreen internet to a phone without a touch screen. It's so much more enjoyable with a touchscreen.

Also, you started the helio's search first.

The iPhone always has the little area at the end not because it's not done loading, but more of refreshing the page so that it works fine. You can use the internet while it is like that, so the iPhone's internet is truly better.

There is no point waiting for all images to finish loading. You can click stop also.

actually, i find my browsing experiense far more better on the ocean, i like opera mini more then safari bcuz of all the shortcuts and features including moblie view. and plus fater loading, mine almost finishing loading before the iphone almost started showing txt, so i find that a better experience for me. nd i barly click oh and i sent this from my helio ocean

I'm actually glad I switched.and for the full HTML on the ocean,I hated scrolling left and right to even read somthing,and the screen is way too small.its a good phone for txting/pics but the web browser and mp3 player needs some work.I'm actually posting this from my iPhone now.and the ocean is lacking wifi.idk I'm just more of an apple guy.lol

I like the ocean because it has wifi speeds without the wifi. Because you are making emphasis on wifi. But you are not always connected to a wifi network. But with helios you always have unlimted data. It has wifi speeds. So the ocean is better. Because when you are in wifi it will be at home where you have a PC or in a venue where you might stay for about an hour surfing. But with the ocean you have to iPhones wifi comfort anywhere with or without a router.
