@mstrx21 Dude, I'm 16 and did some fucked up ebay deals / online gaming accounts sales to put my hands on one of this. Don't get scared just because you are young, my parents told me they would never be able to afford pay for a U$3600 gaming machine so I bought it on my own! I mean, here where I live I can't work legally or any things like that! Just move your ass and make it happen! It took me 6 months, but I got all the cash doing the craziest *legal haha* shit I could do.

People that think this one is $2000 keep on dreaming the GTX 580m costs over 900 dollars/euro's extra HD 6990m round 500 600 but u can get it for 2000 with nothing changed and Dual GTX 560m so if u wan't a big power gaming laptop u need atleast 4000

@mstrx21 You can go from 1999 to 4000. A good enough one would be around 3500. It all depends on how much you are willing to pay for your entretainment and how much you can actually pay for it.

@BlackB0tterfl0s maybe in Europe, but not in the US. I just bought an AW M18X for $2236 equipped with a CPU upgrade (Core i7 2760QM), two GTX580M cards in SLI, and a Blu-ray reader.  The prices of the GTX580Ms dropped about a month ago and now are only about a $127 difference in price. What the dual 6990 cards don't give you (and is not spoken of in this review) is that dual GTX580Ms will allow for CUDA, Physx, and 3D gaming (with the use of a 3D monitor) via the Display port.

i had one of these but when i got it many pieces were broken and wouldn't work. I would recommend getting an asus because it has the same specs for about half the price. :D

@Mr2Wii Quality controll is better at asus by far. Since Dell took over buying an AW is a gamble really.You either get a top notch perfectly functioning machine or you get screwed. On the performance side asus is pathetic though. Single gtx560m as the highest offering? Laughable. If they'd be selling the g74 with a 6990m,made it easily upgradable and if they'd poot the subwoofer back in then I'd be buyin. This way there is no choice but to go for clevo.Atleast they have q.c.and the top gpu's. :P

@FXSwissTrader not overpriced for me :) I just ordered an AW M18X off the AAFES website and get the Dell EPP discount (30% off the retail price) and got it fully loaded with a Core i7 2760QM, two GTX580M in SLI, and a Blu-ray reader for $2236 O.o Not at all overpriced for me...lol. I had enough money left over to buy a Corsair ForceGT 240GB to run the OS and will use the 750GB Seagate drive from my old laptop. This laptop is a beast and the MSI GT780DXR can not compete!
