I can build a strong distortion and with enough gain to play Metallica, Guns N Roses, Iron Maiden, Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), Alice In Chains, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani?

@dbezerradeoliveira i havent used the nova distrortion, i use the marshall jvm distortion, although i think the nova's distortion would not be enough for that type of sound

WHY ARENT U CHANGING your JVM channels with the midi function of the nova. It works a dream and you'll be able to leave yr jvm pedal at home!

@asianaxeman i was considering it but id only have 3 presets i could save whereas with the jvm pedal i can change 5 different amp channels on the fly

I just got the nova system, my amp is midi compatible, but i dont get it to work. I have a midi cable connected from the nova send to the midi in from the amp. Problem is that i cannot switch between pedal and preset mode

Could you help me with this?

hey dude,

can you explain how your setting it up on the menu, i have no idea how to set the levels e.g. n the effects loop how you said you have it set to wet 100% and -10 db?

Also ive found that on the different preset channels im loosing loads of volume from them like one preset is pretty loud the other is not..

i just got this thing yesterday, and it is confusing...

Can you help me?

@jackedwards94 im running certain presets in serial and other in parallel depending on the effect i want and volume of that effect, tweak each effect mix level to balance the volume, this video is mostly to show how not to lose amp tone with a clean signal, if u need to know more just ask ;)

@sportsportsportthanks man, ive been pondering over getting this pedal for a while and there are so many little things that make it go from good to amazing, i think amps fx loops buffering is the main cause of tone loss initially and not the actual nova system itself
