Why would oil burn your hair? Your scalp produces oil to keep hair conditioned. As long as you don't use oil then use heat on your hair, it should be fine.

I have fine hair too :( But I have A LOT of hair so it looks uber thick, but the strands are really fine. Which sucks because

1) hair dressers have NO IDEA what to do with it because i have a horse's mane on my head and

2) if I don't blow dry it or add some type of volumizing product, it sticks to my head and looks flat.

I've started not washing mine until it get oily. Then I shampoo my roots, and only condition my ends. I am going to try not to blow dry, and not to straighten or curl it either. I think its fine to use the oils as treatments like leave them in overnight then rinse shampoo in the morn but yeah i can understAND it hurting your hair if you keep the oils on your hair and go out in the sun or whatnot idk

my hair used to be very damaged and dry. i recommend using cholesterol cream once a week and bead head moisture maniac. it really helped my hair . now am using catwalk for curly hair and it gives me all the moisture i need. hope that helps
