Just got my second P238 back from Sig. ( My first unit was replaced as it could not be repaired). Sig polished the feedramp and oiled it about 200% of what anyone would. That seems to have cleared up the trigger reset failures I had. There are now 200 successfull rounds thru it with the exception of two stove pipes in the first 50 rounds and two reset failures of the trigger in the first 50 rnds. My laser has to go back because it has a "dot" which is a six inch blur.
@ONeill871 At 300 rounds, SIG replaced it with a new gun, that new unit has also gone back at their request with just 50 rounds on it.. Oh, I read my manual. My first gun had "frame damage at the trigger pivot". As I said, not very inspiring for CCW
@FreeAgain2 Don't be surprised if Sig doesn't respond. They are busy making rainbow colored diamond plated guns. These are a resurection of a 25 year old design which had its problems. Sig is on its 3rd generation mag, second or third gen recoil spring, second generation slide, and hopefully a 2nd or 3rd gen extractor.
3:33 The host almost forgot the recommended hand hold that he was just instructed to use.
Gotta make sure those mags are seated all the way on these too.

i shot this pistol very fast at 8 inch targets around 15 yards - very accurate and dependable - you would be surprised at the accuracy

I think the backorders are cleared up now.
I had teething probs with mine, but now cleared up and shoots like a dream. But sure you break-in the gun, and the mags as well.

Bud, I bought one on 2/14/11 and it malfunctioned 4 times in the second box of RWS ammo. Not very confidence inspiring for concealed carry.

@RainmanE350 Theres a 300 round break in for the p238. READ YOUR MANUAL.

Dear Bud,
Has Sig fixed the feed ramp/banging the magazine problem - leading to failure to eject?
Lots of 238 owners here on YOUTUBE have shown this to be a serious problem out of the box.
