Still doesn't change that he rolled up saying "Decepticon attack" while wearing a Decepticon symbol. If a guy in an orange jumpsuit that says "property of county jail" rolls up to a cop and says "hey, some guys just broke out of jail over there" the cop doesn't run off and ignore the guy in the orange jumpsuit. ... Either way, it's just a show. A very fun one, though.

Scrapper, Hook, Scavenger, Mixmaster, Bonecrusher, and Long Haul. But for some reason the new movie have it being seven. And then the names are wrong for them too. Long Haul was the dumptruck but he wasn't part of the Contructicons. Same thing with Bonecrusher from the first new movies.

Because as new and younger marketing and writers came on, they decided to change historical beginings of the transformers. what you have to remember is these episodes are the true beginings. HOLD ON, YES IT DOES! REMEBER WHEN THEY MEET ORION PAX, HE GETS CRITICALLY WOUNDED BY MEGATRON AND THE DECEPTICONS AND IS REBUILT INTO OPTIMUS PRIME. THEN THEY SHOW THE FIRST OPTIMUS/MEGATRON SHOWDOWN. SO THAT THERE IS THE FIRST IS THE BEGINING OF THE WAR IN A SENSE.

I've changed my mind; I think I'll consider this episode's version of the Constructicons' origin as my 'personal canon' a.k.a. what I think is true. Makes sense since Omega Supreme, as far as I know, does not lie, and was telling Optimus the truth.Yeah, there's still the other two contradicting origins but I am allowed to ignore them.

You can actually reconcile them pretty easily as follows:

-Constructicons build Megatron (either under contract or duress)

-Megatron reprograms Constructicons into fully fledged decepticons

-Constructicons follow Megatron to earth but are virtually destroyed during crash

-Megatron builds new bodies to revive Constructicons on earth

It's a little iffy but it's better than accepting the continuity mess as is.

This episode was the source of some continuity issues on the exact origins of the Constructicons. If you noticed, when they're first headed to crystal city they have the decepticon sigil instead of the autobot one.

In an earlier episode it's shown that Megatron "creates" them on earth so there's really no clear answer as to where and when they were created.

@sonwukong666 It's just an animation mistake. I think it's supposed to be Soundwave standing there but they overlayed the wrong character cel. The production was really rushed and they were juggling over 100 characters by that point in season 2. Some of the animators messed up sometimes.

That goes for the Constructicons having their Decepticon symbol too early too.. they didn't want to draw an original animation of the characters just to fix a continuity error kids wouldn't notice
