This clown Spector left the GOP because he knew he would lose the primary next year to Toomey. Spector is a power mad politician with no core beliefs, that's all. I agree completely, but I still think that says far more about the individual's state of mind, (i.e.; religious indoctrination, the things we are sheltered from, told are bad, never see). It's true, Bush opened the door for the wing nuts and in they came, waving their bibles and guns. None of the wing nuts stopped and shut up long enough to see the party members they put in place were crooks and liars, ready to rape and pillage for the next 8 yrs. Now their talking heads look crazy, when just a couple of years ago, they were held up as "true patriots"..Spector is a good man. I don't always agree with him but he has done a good job in his committees.
