  • How did you set up you video?

  • belissimo s videos ,cara onde posso e como faço para adquirir este material para estudo.este e de estrema importancia para os estudantes de uma forma geral .the bruzza.

  • beautiful!!!

  • Superb.

  • Beautiful, my friend!!!

  • Seriously, this might compare to Debussy or Ravel... So beautiful!

  • I would love to have a copy of those notes..where can I find them?

  • excellent voicings!

  • fabulous!! =] =] you are amazing....thank you for your videos-- so inspirational!

  • Beautiful. I agree with the comment about lightening the soul. Listen to this and daily cares seem to melt away. Thanks Doug.

  • yeah, bloody amazing, thanks so much for posting, really inspirational tuition.

  • great improvisation!!!thanks dude...keep up your work

  • Doug: Great version and always interesting interpretation. My favorite version by Tatum was actually played in the key of C as he recorded it. The note for note transcription is published by Hal Leonard and transcribed by Brent Edstrom.14 pages long but so fun to play..Thanks for contributing!

  • Nice!!!

  • I love your contributions. Great music!

  • So Magical. couldn't be made any clearer. Thank you.

  • Another perfect, perfect, egoless musical gem....a total zen experience, this stuff really lightens the load everyday!

Another cool sub is in bar #4 where it normally goes Fmi7 to E dim....

Try: Fmi7 / Emi7 A7 followed in the next meas. by

D Maj7 / Ebmi7 followed by the usual Cmi(b5) F7 then Bbminor. etc...you might have to adjust the mel. a bit on the Emi7 A7 part...it all forshadows the D major bridge section..very cool!

  • And very cool too are your instructional videos radiokid2!

  • Beautiful, as always.

A neat substitution is to replace the Eb minor in bar 6 (or 5, depending on your version), with a DMaj7 followed by a BMaj 7 (that essentially makes the melody note the Maj 7 of each chord). Give it a try!

Thanks for all of your generosity!

  • Thats another good idea to add to the many options. Thanks buckwheatjazz!

  • Incredible!! I second that, boswell255. I would pay good money to see this on a more intermediate jazz improv basis.

  • wow... a master at work!

  • I'd pay good money for a beginner/intermediate course done in the style of these videos. Theses are pitched a little too far above my current skill level unfortunately. Still top notch!

  • Genius!

  • Totally ejoyed that! Thanks again!
