i make my mini houses out of wood. they have packs of woods (100+ pieces) at Hobby Lobby, I make all of my details. But I get my supplys from Hobby Lobby. But I do my own wireing, so that way alllll of my street lights and homes etc light up. And have mini curcit breakers from RadioShack, and other lights and etc. And I like to use real dirt and rocks etc. But thats what I like to do for mine lol.

glue down some 300 grit sand paper kind of like a wall paper. Use a petroleum based glue so the paper doesn't swell or warp.

I finished mine with about an hour and a half. IT looks good... Assembly line time! I used plastic (the clear case things) for the windows.
