Shit, I didn't notice that tunnel when I was playing. I was just running around the little chimney or whatever it is on the roof trying to avoid bullets and missiles. It is hard as fu*k to beat the ATAC that way.

theres a faster way... the coils do damageto him, when he gets close, shoot the coils with the M82 or the revolver, the coils recharge before he can recover himself... so u can kill him in 40 seconds

Like a slough of others here, I spent an hour trying to take out the ATAC with only the pillar as cover. Didn't even know there was a tunnel. Silly for not looking around for better cover first. Thanks for the video.

I used the pistol to hit the lightning bars, and saved the rocket launcher ammunition for the ATAC.

Um, instead of wasting missiles, use the revolver to shoot the coils and then use the VC9.

You don't have to shoot a rocket at the electric cores, e a couple of pistol shots will set it off. Then you have an instant rocket to use.

yo i didnt know about the tunnel. And it sucked for me because my primary gun I had was the shotgun and I was trying to shoot from long range which is fail. That tunnel would have helped a ton, I kept trying to dodge the missiles by running behing the big crate but it was so hard because when the missiles hit you couldnt see or tell what direction the ATAC was. Nice vid.

I beat it on the 5th try. I dont mean to boast or something. It was super hard. I didnt use the tunnel. I got the shotgun before you entered the place where you would fight the ATAC and once it got near the petrusite things i shot wih the shotgun then RPG quickly use shotgun again and hit with RPG. Rinse and repeat.

I remember first doing this.... on trooper level.

I had trapped it fired and hit it 3 times. I remember shouting my head off after that "How many times do I have to hit it?"

I didn't know about the tunnel and that you could hide out in it. Tried it on recruit and its just as difficult when the ATAC fires at you but I think its 'dazed' for longer giving you a chance to fire off your shots.

Hmmmm. I could've sworn you didn't need to use an RPG on the lightning-rods (or whatever they're called); you could just whip out your handgun, shoot the rods, then quickly switch to your RPG and blast the ATAC. Doing this would conserve precious RPG ammo, y'know.
