I honestly have no idea how any of this crap about New Jersey started. I've lived in New Jersey my entire life, and have never heard a single person talk or act like this. I understand this video is just showing the stereotype, but I don't even understand the stereotype? People are confusing New Jersey with Brooklyn. Most of these "Jersey accents" are how Italians in Brooklyn talk, not at all like New Jersey. It wasn't until these shows started that people started coming here acting like this.
