You should put covers on top of the bottom row of generators to block the tubes. I think iron block covers should blend in nicely with the tops of the generators, if that's a concern. You can also use hollow covers behind them to hide the machinery behind it and keep it looking neat, if you'd rather keep it out of sight.
If you had moved the item detector further down the line, closer to the geothermal generators the retriever would not have pulled the buckets out until all of the generators had received lava.
@CaptianJohnPrice Actually, it's rather refreshing to see someone doing a LP series who actually makes mistakes and changes his mind about things. It shows you just how much time and effort can go into the finished products that you see in some other LP series.

RP4 meh. You go to make something entirely with RP4 except it has tanks on one end and geo generators on the other. RP4 world and machines lack context. I know you love eloraam but you don't need that stuff. Logic, wiring, lighting are all you need.
Entire build could have been replaced by the ic2 sub mod that has the geothermal generators that you can pipe lava into. If they are cheating then tubes most certainly are. As such this all seemed a bit contrived to play with rp4.

Um I have a very important q. I just updated all off my mods and I keep getting an item error on a red power 2 item but can't find a free Id to name it as. The blocks Id is 200 on the very first red power config please help me thanks alot

Logistics pipes will distribute evenly between themselves on the same network.
Then you can use the retriever to pull the buckets out again, or wooden pipes. IMO the retriever works well there.
And in case anyone is wondering, you can just run the bronze tube a few steps out from his funky transposer linkage and then into a chest to transit between RP2 and BC
If you set the counters back up, you wouldn't have to have the delay, but if each machine was only on when it was needed, it would save some blutricity.

So your redpower battery box will not charge back up like you were saying. just an FYI, love the series!!!
@direwolf20 can you talk to krapht about using other textures for logistics pipes w/ additional pipes, no matter what i do the textures stay default. Yes, I know where the textures go.
you know what I hate about the sorting machine? ... to many bloody colors... I know it's the only way but I'm a guy... I work with numbers... look at the teleport pipes... FYI: simple jacketed wire connects with simple or insulated redwire; bundled jacketed wire only connects with bundled wire... even if you need only 1 color out of that bundled jacketed wire you still need to use 1 bundle wire to connect it to the surface. DFTBA!!!

@supergamer2401 I think you are referring to IndustrialCraft, not Buildcraft. Cells are stackable while buckets are not... also IndustrialCraft needs to works on its own since not everybody works with Buildcraft and Redpower/Bucketfiller installed.
@Random7Guy kidding right? I know it's a pain in the ass to install all the mods but direwolf even provided the config files so you don't bother with conflicting IDs

@direwolf20 i'm using the Technic pack with Minecraft 1.0 and when i use a retriever it will only retrieve items when it doesn't have anything in the gui. Do you know anything that could help me fix this?

Dire, You can pace the auto crafting table richt next to the deployer, put a chest next to the auto crafting table for empty cells and pump the full cells in the chest too. Then you can use redpower stuff to pull only lava cells and you'r done!
@all 1 hour comments - I considered splitting this into 2 parts, but decided my subs are all awesome and you guys deserved it :). Don't get used to it though. 30 minutes will still be the normal length.
@direwolf20 im happy with 30 mins since its the average that the commentators do it but i never say no to an nice hour-long video :). This was a nice video btw.
I actually did something like this in my 1.8 test world, but I used it mainly to make an "infinite obsidian factory, using EE, why obsidian, well mainly to convert it to ice for my reactor. 24 ice per lapis, which is 8 lapis per obsidian, which is worth 5 lava bucket... I also made an automatic seed/flower farm, made with deployers using bone meal on grass blocks in front of them. And water activated by deployers. And if I run out of bone meal, some excess lapis gets EE'd into it. So perfect.
@TheTardis34 well i think it may still work, because the deployers still seem to have the same functions, items instide are rightclicked, and if a grass block is in Front, by that I mean its even with the deployer, and you put bonemeal in it it will grow the grass. I actually made a powerful reactor that had only the first row with ice and the rest with uranium cells. Made alot of eu. But it had some cooling issues, mainly had no idea on ice, until I got EE, I will be doing sometest
@TheTardis34 Ok new update... I just decided to check my ice machine, and all 3 of my EE chests are completely filled with ice. And I only turned it on a few minutes ago. By the way Im using powerconverters for lava generation, for it. Powered by some advanced solar panels. And all my mfsus are filled aswell. :D im going to need more chests.:D
@electrobob992 Even better update. I made a "bone" generator. That actually is self sustaining. Makes bonemeal into bones, which turn into bonemeal to repeat the process. :D
@electrobob992 I also realized... I can make armor with the EE condenser. :D I just made a iron helmet with dirt. :D And snowballs into ice. The snow is very small so it only takes a sec per ice, just have to loop it with autocrafters and BAM.... huge ice reserves. Time to work on my ice cooled reactor. :D
Also I actually use RP for seed farming, because why install another mod when It can all be done with mods I already have.
@electrobob992 nice touch with the water activated by deployers...I'm thinking of a similar system but with a dark room(grass and flowers pop off in complete darkness) so I can spam the deployer a little bit before using the water to collect
you could rebuild the geothermal set up with logistics pipes. Since they are ratios you just have a basic pipe request 1 cell each and the pipes do the rest... the hard part being making sure each basic only has 1 non system connection each... but then i just don't like pneumatic pipes and love logistics

Use that latch circuit and a wireless receiver to remotely turn machines/systems on and off.
You could also add a wall of lights where each light tells if that machine/system is on or off.

FYI: simple jacketed wire connects with simple or insulated redwire; bundled jacketed wire only connects with bundled wire... even if you need only 1 color out of that bundled jacketed wire you still need to use 1 bundle wire to connect it to the surface. DFTBA!!!

direwolf what was the point in having lava cells in the buildcraft setup when you could of just used buckets and in this ep why did you set up a auto craft table with a lava cell in it

@supergamer2401 I think you are referring to IndustrialCraft, not Buildcraft. Cells are stackable while buckets are not... also IndustrialCraft needs to works on its own since not everybody works with Buildcraft and Redpower/Bucketfiller installed.

Dire, You can pace the auto crafting table richt next to the deployer, put a chest next to the auto crafting table for empty cells and pump the full cells in the chest too. Then you can use redpower stuff to pull only lava cells and you'r done!

I actually did something like this in my 1.8 test world, but I used it mainly to make an "infinite obsidian factory, using EE, why obsidian, well mainly to convert it to ice for my reactor. 24 ice per lapis, which is 8 lapis per obsidian, which is worth 5 lava bucket... I also made an automatic seed/flower farm, made with deployers using bone meal on grass blocks in front of them. And water activated by deployers. And if I run out of bone meal, some excess lapis gets EE'd into it. So perfect.

@TheTardis34 well i think it may still work, because the deployers still seem to have the same functions, items instide are rightclicked, and if a grass block is in Front, by that I mean its even with the deployer, and you put bonemeal in it it will grow the grass. I actually made a powerful reactor that had only the first row with ice and the rest with uranium cells. Made alot of eu. But it had some cooling issues, mainly had no idea on ice, until I got EE, I will be doing sometest

@TheTardis34 Ok new update... I just decided to check my ice machine, and all 3 of my EE chests are completely filled with ice. And I only turned it on a few minutes ago. By the way Im using powerconverters for lava generation, for it. Powered by some advanced solar panels. And all my mfsus are filled aswell. :D im going to need more chests.:D

@electrobob992 I also realized... I can make armor with the EE condenser. :D I just made a iron helmet with dirt. :D And snowballs into ice. The snow is very small so it only takes a sec per ice, just have to loop it with autocrafters and BAM.... huge ice reserves. Time to work on my ice cooled reactor. :D
Also I actually use RP for seed farming, because why install another mod when It can all be done with mods I already have.

you could rebuild the geothermal set up with logistics pipes. Since they are ratios you just have a basic pipe request 1 cell each and the pipes do the rest... the hard part being making sure each basic only has 1 non system connection each... but then i just don't like pneumatic pipes and love logistics
