@marcellakarmaeater Sergei Rachmaninov's Prelude in C-Sharp Minor. It is from a collection of piano works Rachmaninov wrote called the Morceaux de Fantaisie (Fantasy Pieces), and this version is orchestrated by Leopold Stokowski. I hope this helps your pursuit.
@rbk84 Precisely, it's Rachmaninov - Prelude in C# minor (C sharp minor), op. 3 no. 2 - if I'm not mistaken, I'm horrible about numbers. There are PLENTY of recordings here on Youtube, so you can find it easily
Final step sequence in this program reminds me of image of angry angel throwing lightning here and there. It is like a piece of painting. She is undoubtedly an artist.
her technicality are really great like her biellman spiral. she's the most flexible among the competitors..congrats MaO i hope you will aim high next year and be the world's figure skating champion again!
i love this program and this performance i find her shining with confidence, there simply is no hesitation and she really shows great attack. love how she does every element so perfectly makes it look so easy and her one handed biellman spin was exquisite, and she really has some guts by doing not one but TWO 3A..
I would much rather watch Mao than Kim. Yes, Kim is a better performer in the Hollywood sense of the word, but Mao is better technically and artistically.

No doubt she deserved to win the world championships; this performance was amazing but overall Yuna is just better. I can't pin point what it is but Mao skating style and movements is a little too up and down ...Yuna is definitely more elegant.
wow still lower than yuna's FS? Probably because Yuna's program can get sooo many technical points because of all of her jumps. I like Yuna better but I'm happy for Mao because in any other olympic without Yuna, Mao would win gold. Unfortunately she has to skate at the same time as Yuna.
I am not biased toward Yuna or Asada in any way, shape, or form; however, I find that Yuna is the most overrated female skater in the history of the sport. Her performances do not reflect her ridiculously high scores in the least.Mao Asada, from an unbiased observer, is the FAR better skater.Asada's technical and artistic merit, stretches, spirals, and jumps all exceed Yuna's.Asada also has the triple axel in her repertoire.Nowadays, judges apparently place the most importance in charisma.
wow the score really stings! only 7 higher than yuna ewww ..and plus rachel flatt (usa) skate in U.s Champion and scored overall of a little over 200 her skate is ugly no triple axel or anything.. seriously these judges got no eyes.!
I am delighted to say here Mao Asada proved me wrong! At the beginning of the season I really didn't like her two programs. I loved light, ballet, gentle Mao SO much in 2007/08 2008/09. I wasn't sure about "Bells of Moscow" or the SP but this performance is GENIUS, BEAUTIFUL! The step sequence has PASSION and techicallly SO hard. She certainly stepped up here. WELL DONE!!!!!!
@muscleboi4use I agree, I like the Olympic version slightly more, despite the mistakes. Not a big fan of this season's work but it really gelled when it counted.
in the short, everyone, including the commentator, expected another great perf. from Yuna, so they kept saying Yuna was unbeatable during Mao's short, but once Yuna messed up, they started saying good things about Mao...im korean, and im a huge fan of Yuna, but Mao is an AMAZING skater :)
i dont understand why she got a worse score here than in the olympics. i'm not a skate expert or anything but she made two costly errors in vancouver, rectified them here and got a lower a score.
Daisuke Takahashi recently said in an interview Mao's step is so good and he respects her. We usually think Daisuke's step is the greatest, however, "Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself, but talent instantly recognizes genius." Tara also loves her step sequence.
Wow...who's the sub commentator giving the technical details? She Does know Mao is the Fighter...no one gave such comment. Yup, I love her step sequence, which is very passionate. Best commentator ever. I hope Mao evolves further acquiring more speed and awareness of her own style.
Tara's comment on Mao's short program was kinda harsh and bad, it's a good thing she praised Mao's long program though,. O_o

Her second one was under-rotated, but even getting it a quarter turn is the hardest. Triple axel is definitly the hardest triple out there.
